It's My Life - My Bucket List [6 Month Update]

6 months have passed since I posted my original bucket list, so I thought it was time for an update!

1 - Skydive. [DONE!]
The 27th of July finally saw my jump happen! Here is the video evidence!

Check out my Just Giving page for sponsorship details as you can still donate to the amazing Ape rescue center, Monkey World, in Dorset.

2 - Go to every Disney resort in the world. 1 down. 5 to go.  No Update.
3 - (To the displeasure of my Mother) Get many more tattoos.
In the last 6 months I've only added one to the collection. My 'Friday the 13th' one above the Dead Gypsy on my left arm.

4 - Own my dream farmhouse in the south west countryside. No update.
5 - Raise and Train a Border Collie as well as my Granda did.
I never thought I'd be able to say this - but we have actually added a collie to our family. Well, he is actually a Collie Lurcher cross, but that made it fate that we got him because as well as having many Collie's my Granda also had a Lurcher... At 7 weeks training is going well. I hope I make my Granda proud. I know he would of loved him!

6 - (To the displeasure of my other half) Become reasonably fluent in another language. Spanish or Portuguese, preferably. No update.
7- Compete in a Jiu Jitsu tournament. No update.
8 - Learn to Skateboard. I have the best teacher!
So far Jake has taught me to push along. I'm okay but still a little unsteady. Next year when the better weather comes I'll get more practice in.

Ask Jake lol

14 - Stay alcohol free for the rest of my life.
Going brilliantly. Read about it here.

Another surprise is that this is progressing well too. I can make a mean roast dinner, chicken curry and lots of other simple things. Next to master is homemade soup and pies for Jake.

16 - Work on a farm and drive a tractor/combine harvester. No update.
17 - Become semi self-sufficient. Solar/wind power, grow own food etc. No update.

  1. Hi Danielle, I came across your blog and it's really colorful and interesting! :)

I read your nice long bucket list and wanted to share that I've just completed an iPhone app (adream) where people can share their dreams and goals in a fun way. If you own an iPhone, hope it helps you get closer to crossing items off your list. It’s my dream to help people realize theirs in this small little way.

    Best, Ray
