And I cannot believe how much he has grown and learned in the short time we have had him.
At 6 weeks old...
6 Weeks later...
We love taking him out on walks, he is so well behaved - especially when off the lead.
We've introduced him to lots of people and lots of dogs as there is no lack of people who want to talk to you when you have a puppy. Obviously, as a baby, he started out pretty timid, always wanting lifted up but now he's started exploring but never straying more than a couple meters in front of us and gets lots of compliments off other dog owners about his recall.
Guy Fawkes night was hell though. Well that whole weekend really. Baker usually slept in the kitchen on his own bed with paper down where he was toilet trained to go (I've been criticized for this, people telling me he should be in a cage but no way am I EVER putting my animal in a cage - don't get me started on that) but in the early hours of the morning I was woken by his crying.
Since then, every morning at about 3-4am he'd cry and expect me to sleep the rest of the night on the sofa with him...uh oh. Problem solved though, he now sleeps right through until 8.30-9am on our bedroom floor! :)
