Out and About - Gosforth Nature Reserve

Thursday the 1st of November was spent doing some much need bird watching! My good friend Sophie took me with her to, the membership access only, 'Gosforth Nature Reserve' and we had an awesome time.
I am so happy that Mr Sun put his hat on for us and the lighting was beautiful for photo taking.

Since getting the puppy, Jake and I obviously haven't been far, until his vaccinations are up to date and he can come with us. We will definitely have to get a membership for us though 'cause I'm sure Jake would love the park - especially seeing as we were told that there has of late been many otter sightings!
That and the vast amount of other creatures and wildlife and even the many species of birds.

Here are the images I managed to capture. All taken on my Nikon D5000 with 70-300mm lens.
[If you follow Jake and I's wildlife photography blog 'No Eyed Deer' you will already of seen these!]

And here is a little gif of a woodpecker!
