Out and About - Gosforth Park Nature Reserve Revisited.

Start the year as you mean to go on.  -  Nature hunting and Photographing.
If you're following my Project 365 photography blog you may of seen THIS awesome photo (if I do say so myself) of a beautiful male Roe Deer!

My friend Sophie and I went on our second outing to the Nature Reserve at Gosforth, Newcastle on the 3rd and began our day in disappointment as my personal favorite place, the feeding station bird hide, was bare of any sort of wildlife!
Starting our trek around the over 148 acre park we were very pleasantly surprised to run into a couple of young female roe deer. Literally, they were about 6 meters or so in front of us. By the time we raised our cameras they were on the move and especially with my camera settings still the same from shooting birds, I didn't manage the clearest shot.

However, a little further along the path, this stunning male trotted straight across in front of us!

Other than the amazing sightings of many more roe deer that day, I only got one photo of a bird and lots of random snaps. Check them out... Everything looked soo different from when we last visited.
