TAG! - The Disney Tag

1. A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience.
I'd love to experience alot from the Tinkerbell movie. Being a fairy would be pretty sweet to begin with but playing with all the animals at their heights, flying around with the birdys and preparing everything for each season, working with mother nature, yes please!

2. An unforgettable experience moment you've had at the Parks.

Charity Spotlight V.7

Hitting the headlines this month, for a devastating reason, is a couple and their son from my hometown of Berwick Upon Tweed. Rachael and Stuart were recently told that their beautiful little 11 month old boy, Roman, has a rare terminal disease by the name of alphers and have been staggered by the amense support and attention the story has gathered so far.

Alphers disease effects the central nervous system and can lead to blindness, deafness, seizures, developmental delays and also liver dysfunction, meaning any sufferers will require 24 hour care and specialist equipment to help them best live their day to day life.
So rare that it only effects around 1 in 200,000 people, this condition needs to be made more aware of with some doctors unable to diagnose right away. You can read more on Alphers here.

JD Photography - I Quit.

The title says it all really. After 8 years in the trade both self employed and employed in other's studios etc I've decided to call it quits.
I put everything into the jobs I do and have always left clients smiling but as photography becomes more and more popular as a career choice, the competition (I use the word loosely because some work is so shoddy it can't be described as that) becomes almost impossible to beat.

A small example of my family portraiture.

Now I'm obviously not just gonna pack up my camera and studio equipment and forget the art and hobby that I've loved for so long.

How to - DIY Tattooing..?*

So you want to look as cool as me and everyone else in the 'Inked and Awesome' series but lack the commitment and courage to take the plunge and go under the needle? Never fear you can create your very own body art in the comfort of your own home. And no, it doesn't include sewing needles and pen ink...

My Top 5 - 90s TV Shows

Some might say that because I was only born in 1990 that I didn't get to fully enjoy the television delights like some that may of been born in the 80's, being only a child during the decade obviously. However from being a young child, through my teen years, right up to now I have always loved everything 90's. Like come on, who doesn't?!
So if you checked out my 'Top 5 Childhood Toys' and liked it, I'm sure you'll like this too. :)
(As always, the following are in no particular order)

The family comedy sitcom of Home Improvement is often overlooked in other similar lists I've seen but was one of the first that sprung to mind for me. The voice of ever popular Buzz Lightyear from the Disney Toy Story films and

Guest Post - Yes, Flat Broke!!

Today, I'm very pleased to be able to say I have a guest post for you all. Very pleased because it's awesome to be able to showcase someone else's writing and introduce you to someone lovely but also pleased as I've been away from home the last two days on a serious flat hunting spree with my parents and hadn't a fully completed draft to post. I always have lots of drafts either on the go or ready to post but nothing is suitable for today and I'm not gonna rush to put up something mediocre. Enought ramble anyways - enjoy today's very true post from Dorianne!! (Go swing by and say hi on her blog).

'' I'm sure I've already mentioned I bought this beautiful apartment with rooms and a ceiling. But did I happen to mention I'm flat broke?
I'm flat broke!! In fact lately I'm realizing that everything is coming with a price tag. Has it always been this way? Did clothing shops use to have huge cardboard signs illustrating item-prices next to each mannequin? Actually, did we use to pay for the acquired objects prior to leaving a retail outlet? I don't recall such moments. But then again, life was much easier back then and as the song goes "prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders".
Back to our chat - where was I? Yes - my being FLAT BROKE! As a consequence, the spontaneous way with which I used to shop is now just a memory seized by an unnatural, inquisitive attitude which prolongs the formerly-trouble-free trip to the supermarket by some extra three hours.  This is because I now find myself loitering by the 'special offer' cubicles with the Buy-one-get-three-free/Buy-three-get-one-free/whatever crap, checking for expiry dates (did food items use to come up with expiry dates before, really?!) and going through my bill once out of the cash point (hoping the cashier messed up my bill and that the 6 bottles of wine were given to me for free for being a loyal customer rather than amounting to that unsightly price that's almost making my eyes water, no kidding!)
But that's life I guess. Us responsible people work our ***** off to eventually have enough savings to buy a house and make it a home. Worrying about the bloody visa bill comes after. ''

Hope you all enjoyed that little tit-bit, it's ringing true so much to Jake and I right now (minus the Visa part haha) and I thought it very fitting for the current circumstances!  Make sure to head over to Dorianne's blog! Tell her I sent you :)

Where Did My Blog Go!?

So as you may of noticed if you are a perceptive person or an actual follower of this here blog it's changed a little...

And not for the first time either. You see I seem to have commitment issues when it comes to design. I like to add and subtract and mix it up quite alot. From the beginning of 'Once Upon A Time...' formally at 2 years ago it was constantly evolving with many different looks. Not the starting point, but here is how you might remember this blog...

From this,

to this,
And I now welcome you to this!!

'Underland to Wonderland' is the new persona of my little world and has become so for many reasons, the main of which being that I wanted the url and blog name to match. Obviously with the old name it wouldn't of made the best url hence hunting for a new one!
A hat tilt to the magical world I'd admire so much and a good representation of my life situations I think :)

With a new name must come a new look and goodness have I spent alot of time on it. I do design, create and code all of my own stuff from scratch and think I am reasonably happy with how it has turned out so far.
I'd really love for your opinions as you do have to look at it and navigate around it. Constructive criticism is welcomed but telling me how lovely it is would be better. Just joking :)

I lost a big chunk of followers with the url switch as Blog Lovin' is poop and doesn't let you just update the web address but hey ho, I hope to connect with those people and more all over again. I have met so many beautiful people during the last couple of months and would like to thank them for their support.
It may just be a quick comment on a post or a re-tweet on twitter but when your life only consists of housework, walking the dog and blogging it's a big happiness meter boost! Uh, this is starting to get mushy!
See ya guys, remember to let me know what you think!! :D

How To - The DOs and DON'Ts of Puppy Training.

Whilst out walking my precious puppy the other day the idea for this post sprang to mind. Seeing the way all different types of people treat their dog's and how the dogs act made me appreciate how well trained our little guy is for his age (not to be big headed or anything)!

Now I'm not dissing anyone's puppy parenting skills - actually maybe I am. Here are some of the 'myths' and  actual truths behind methods of dog training.

OOTD - My Very 1st Outfit Post

Being a doggy mammy and housewife extraordinaire means my wardrobe is more practical than fashionable. I still like cute clothes don't get me wrong, I just stick to basics, comfys and of course anything Disney.
This led me to a brainwave though - there must be others out there like me! Why can't I do an outfit post?! So I'm here to prove that girls like me exist. I don't wear false eyelashes, Jeffery Campbell's and a ton of 'arm candy' just to do some grocery shopping, I keep it real. I don't have anyone to impress!

This is what I wore for a day at the beach with Baker.

Charity Spotlight V.6

This charity was brought to my attention by the recent tragic events that struck Boston at their famous marathon on the 15th of April this year. Of which I send my heartfelt love and thoughts to all those effected in anyway.

JD Photography - Project 365 4/12

I know I said the same last month, but seriously - this year is going way too fast! Life is short enough as it is without the days flying past like they are and if we weren't having such a bad time just now it would be even more of a shame.
After the sudden passing away of our beautiful baby Nike on April 1st, I've made an effort to spend alot more time with Bunny as he seemed as if he was on deaths door too. Thankfully, it was apparently just shock and grieving and he's doing well now but that just proves how even little rabbits have feelings making the thought of animal testing and cruelty even more upsetting.
Anyways! haha Make sure to pop over to see the full size images by clicking HERE. Please do follow that blog by GFC or BlogLovin' :) and let me know your thoughts!! Thanks guys, hope you all had a lovely April.
