Weekly Wondering // Week 8.

I found this set of questions, '365 thought provoking questions to ask yourself this year', last year and bookmarked the webpage. After having rediscovered it I am answering 7 of the questions each week  until I complete the year.

50. Can you describe your life in a six word sentence?
Ups and downs, smiles and frowns. (Thanks Snoop Dogg/Lion! haha)

51. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Because isn't it nice to be successful first time around? You may learn from your mistakes but the process is usually not a particularly nice one.

52. What impact do you want to leave on the world?
I would love to be able to leave an impact like that of the late, great man that was Jim Cronin MBE otherwise known as founder of Monkey World in Dorset, although I more than likely will not be able to leave a legacy even a quarter of what he has. I'd still like to be known as a nice person who cared and did what she could, especially for the welfare of animals.

53. What is the most defining moment of your life thus far?
I don't think I've really had one yet. My 23rd year of life seems to be quite eventful in a good way though.

54. In the haste of your daily life, what are you not seeing?
I hate to say this in an answer as I feel like it's my initial reaction to most of these questions but I don't actually know. I feel I am quite a deep person and am aware of the world around me including everything from the feelings of friends and family and the gorgeous  nature and wildlife on my doorstep to the struggles of strangers living across the world from me and the beautiful lands I can only imagine of visiting. I feel that I am living my life at a pace that suits me and allows me to see what I want to see.

55. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do in order to be able to do the things you do want to do. Life is give and take and if it was so easy as to just do the things you want to do it'd get boring eventually. Compromising and/or working towards being able to do things you want to do helps you to enjoy those moments more anyways.

56. What lifts your spirits when life gets you down?
The cheesy answer would be my family and friends, although it's probably more like chocolate, a Disney movie and a nap!
