Prettiest Pup Winner Prize Photoshoot Set

Back in December last year, over on my photography Facebook page I decided to hold a 'Prettiest Pup' competition. 24 stunning dogs had photos submitted by their owners (which can still be seen here) and the one with the most 'likes' was crowned Prettiest Pup!
Our winner was Bob! (And as I stated in the competition if the winner came from a household with other dogs they would be included in the portraits too of course.)

I asked his owners to write a little bit about him and his 'brother' for you to get to know them a little so here is what they said,

'Bob came to us 7 years ago after we got ourselves on the register for a Guide Dog who "didn't make the grade". He is extremely intelligent and had far too much energy to settle being a Guide Dog. He loves his exercise and even now at 8 years young he can still manage a 12 mile walk no problem. He loves those close to him and likes his routines.'

'Coop was fostered by us a year past December whilst his owner was unwell. He was overweight so it took us a couple of month to get him in shape. Owing to personal circumstances Coop was then to be put to retirement. As we had got very close to him we decided that we couldn't bear to see him leave so he was then to become our pet. Coop loves EVERYONE, but he can never love anything as much as he loves his tennis ball!!!'

So on Mothering Sunday my Mam and I went for a walk with these fantastic dogs and got some cracking shots. They definitely deserved their winning title! Unfortunately the weather wasn't what we hoped for, so our planned beach location had to be scrapped but I think it turned out for the best even with all the fog in the photos. I'll let you judge for yourself...
