Weekly Wondering // Week 27

I found this set of questions, '365 thought provoking questions to ask yourself this year', last year and bookmarked the webpage. After having rediscovered it I am answering 7 of the questions each week  until I complete the year.

182.What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

I've had many lovely things done for me, mainly by my parents but I've also had good friends support me and Jake do little sentimental cute things for me. It doesn't necessarily have to be a huge deal or a huge gesture to class as a nice sentiment.

183.What do you see when you look into the future?
A detached cottage/old house in a rural location with animals to care for and countryside to explore.

184.What makes you angry?  Why?

Cruelty to animals of any sort because they are helpless, vulnerable and innocent.
Anti social behavior ie being violent, loud etc as it is scary, unnecessary and classless.
Dropping of litter! It pollutes the environment and is harmful to wildlife as well as being unattractive to the eye.

185.What is the most valuable life lesson you learned from your parents?

It may seem slightly superficial but it's very important to help you survive in the real world - Don't spend money you don't have. In other words do not rely on credit cards, store cards and loans. I don't think you should purchase things unless you have earned it.

186.What does love feel like?

I'm not the type of person to have the emotional vocabulary to describe that.

187.What are your favorite simple pleasures?
Wearing a comfy pair of jogging bottoms, listening to the birds sing and coming home with a new toy for Baker to go crazy over.

188.If you could go back in time and tell a younger version of yourself one thing, what would you tell?

I wouldn't tell myself anything major like to change my path or not trust certain people as I believes everything happens for a reason. Also I don't feel that I would need to go back and give myself any further encouragement, 'like everything will be okay', because I always had faith in my future and kept dreaming. So I guess the long and short of it is - I really haven't the foggiest what I'd tell myself!

  1. Basically every answer is the same answer I would give. My parents gave me the same advice - if you don't have the money, don't spend it. Everything that makes you angry also makes me angry, but you probably could have guessed that! When I look into the future I also see a beautiful old cottage filled with many animals! xx
