Weekly Wondering // Week 28

I found this set of questions, '365 thought provoking questions to ask yourself this year', last year and bookmarked the webpage. After having rediscovered it I am answering 7 of the questions each week  until I complete the year.

189.What do you do to deliberately impress others?
Use big words? haha Not really, I'm terrible for an ex-literature student and always use spell check and an online thesaurus. Urm..brag about my dog?

190.What will you never do?

Go against my original beliefs and judgement again. Undermining your own way of wanting to live life and caving into things other people want you to do or act like, never will work out well. For example I am completely and utterly against all types of drugs and infact anything that is against the law (like everyone should be to be honest) but a while back I let down my barriers and became friends with someone who was into such awful things. Now I didn't sink so low as to completely forget my standards, but I in no way should of ever associated with anyone like that. It compromised our safety and I will never put myself in that position again.

191.Excluding romantic relationships, who do you love?

My Mam and Dad! Baker. Most animals. & Walt Disney :P

192.What is your earliest childhood memory?

Are you kidding? I can't remember yesterday properly let alone my childhood. Obviously I have been told stories and seen photos/home movies but I don't think I have any actual memories.

193.What book has had the greatest influence on your life?
Such an unimaginative, cliche, somewhat embarrassing answer - but Harry Potter. The whole world was a big part of mine when growing up and escaping in that book helped me through many horrible times.

194.What three questions do you wish you knew the answers to?

What happens after death? (A little pessimistic but I'd like to know where lost loved ones are)
Are there really witches and wizards? (I think there are!)
What three questions do you wish you knew the answers to? ('Cause I cannot think of a third and I want to know what YOU want to know ;P)

195.What is the greatest peer pressure you've ever felt?

It's no secret that I've always danced to the rhythm of my own drum, I've never been afraid to wear what I want or be into whatever took my fancy so I can't pick a specific moment of peer pressure. I'm pretty lucky to of mainly associated with good, nice people and therefore people who wouldn't pressure me anyways. Obviously being teetotal I have people ask why, and ask me to come out, 'oh its only one drink!' but I have no desire to spill poison down my neck even with people asking me to :D

  1. Its lame to say it, but Harry Potter changed my life, It was a massive part of my life for so long, and I would have done anything to have lived in that world! It was such a huge part of my childhood. Also I'd love to know if there was really witches and wizards. My teacher in year 3 and 4 used to tell us she was a witch, but she was a good witch, and I always believed her, and probably still do now :)

  2. I've never read Harry Potter. Could you believe it? Everyone is always talking about it.
I don't know if I have any questions in particular. I'm really stumped on that one.
It's so nice that you don't let anyone peer pressure you. You are you and that's just great! :)
