A Homage to Nature Photography Day

Yesterday was NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY DAY! I swear it was created for me!
So seeing as yesterday I was out on my Sponsored Dog walk for the Guide Dogs that I had organized and was out enjoying nature I didn't have the time to take and edit any new nature photos for you. However, I've had a rake through the archives of JD Photography and have put together a small combination of a few different examples of my favorite hobby - nature photography.
All photos were taken by me on a Nikon D5000 using a standard 18-55mm lens, excluding the 1st photo, the photo of the robin and the photo of the swan which were taken with a 70-300mm lens. Also, the photo in the woods with the lens flare was taken by my talented other half in Leaplish, Keilder.

Please do NOT use or share these photos without credit or consent.

This is actually the 9th annual Nature Photography Day, which was created by The North American Nature Photography Association
As stated on their website, 'This day was designated by NANPA to promote the enjoyment of nature photography, and to explain how images have been used to advance the cause of conservation and protect plants, wildlife, and landscapes locally and worldwide.'
You can get involved by sharing any photos you may of taken on the 15th on their Facebook, find out more about that and the origins of the day HERE!

I will of hopefully taken lots of cool photos of our sponsored walk, including the gorgeous scenery and I will share in due time. (You can sponsor us here if you are feeling super generous. :P)
