Guest Post // A Disney Lovers Playlist

Hey there Underland to Wonderland readers, my name is Nichole and I blog over at Upbeat Uplifts! I was really excited when Danielle asked me to guest post here on her corner in cyberspace! Since I am an unfamiliar face behind the words you are about to read I first would like to take a few moments to introduce myself.
I started blogging back in February and instantly it has become such an integral part of my life I can't imagine not doing it. For as long as I can remember I have always been a person to look for the best in any given situation. Life is going to happen and not every day is going to be good, but what matters most is not letting the bad define you or your life. I graduated from college last month which means I have to transform into being a big kid, but trust me there is lots of emphasis on the word kid still! I also just completed my rookie season as a member on the dance team for the NBA team in my area, The Pistons. It's an opportunity I am extremely grateful for. My family is my everything. I would not be half the person I am today without their love and support. This is just a little glimpse into who I am and now that we are better acquainted, let's get onto the rest of the post!

Being a reader of Danielle's blog I am sure you are aware of her love for Disney. Well, this is something she and I have in common! I have and always will be a lover of all things Disney. As I have gotten older however, I have come to appreciate the valuable lessons in all they elicit. A place I tend to look most for motivation and inspiration is in lyrics. There are SO many powerful phrases hidden in the fun music. Today I'm happy to share some Disney favorites with you all! (title is linked to a video!)

"Let it go, let it go!
Can't hold it back any more.
Let it go, let it go!
Turn away and slam the door.
I don't care what they're going to say.
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me anyway."

"Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata, ain't no passing craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It's our problem free philosophy, Hakuna Matata"

"Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling through
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true"

"Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life"

"And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you"

"And I'm almost there, I'm almost there!
People down here think I'm crazy, but I don't care
Tribes and tribulations have had my share
There ain't nothing gonna stop me now cause I'm almost there"

"I'll be there someday
I can go the distance
I will find my way
If I can be strong
I know every mile
Will be worth my while
When I go the distance
I'll be right where I belong"

"When there's a smile in your heart
There's no better time to start
Think of all the joy you'll find
When you leave the world behind
And bid your cares good-bye
You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!"

Happy listening! :)
