Countdown to Disneyland // Meet and Greet Wishlist

2,246,400 seconds,

37,440 minutes,

624 hours,

26 days,

3 weeks (rounded down)

Whhhaaattt since when was it less than a month until we go to Disneyland?! We booked the holiday back in like January or something and when I thought it would take ages to come around, the year has flown and it's almost time. That makes me slightly sad because the sooner we go, the sooner we'll be back. I swear I'm hardly going to sleep when we're there to make the most of being back in the home land!

For this countdown post I thought I'd take the time to sit and think about the characters that I'm gonna stalk this time. Mwhahaahaha!!!! Not really. But on my last visit all the way back in 2010 I meticulously planned out where we needed to be at what times so I could meet the characters I wanted to.
This time around there will be different people to meet, some that I may of not gotten a photo with last time as well as some that I want new photos with. Here is a list of the characters I'll be making a B-line for!

Aladdin and Jasmine - I didn't get to meet these guys as they were ushered away just as we were walking up to them and like when I met Woody and Jessie, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum etc, it's cool to get them as a couple!

Baloo - According to information websites, Baloo is a regular however I didn't spot him in 2010 and can't remember meeting him in 1996 (although I can't remember yesterday, let alone being 6!) I recon he'd give good hugs!

Rabbit and Piglet - To complete my Winnie the Pooh and friends set it'd be awesome if I could get an autograph and photo with Rabbit and Piglet! I met Winnie, Tigger and Eeyore in 2010.

Snow White - The only Princess that I'm overly bothered about meeting, is my favorite one of all. While in line waiting, she also done a runner and swapped out with Cinderella. I wasn't as stoked to meet Cinders but after waiting in line for almost 2 hours I wasn't gonna just leave. This is a photo too, however, that will need replaced as I wasn't in it alone.

Mr Penguin - From Mary Poppins. Another I'd love to hug...although almost impossible to see this visit as he's only present in the Disneyland Hotel predominately. Wish I'd seen him when I stayed there last time!

White Rabbit - Because I love Alice in Wonderland - duh! With it being during the Halloween season this time around the Queen of Hearts aswell is likely to be knocking about...I'm too scared to meet her though.

I'd also love to experience the amazing times I had with Minnie, Mickey and of course Stitch again as they were so fantastic, and Jack Skellington is the main Halloween character I hope to get a glimpse of!

There we have it, that's my most wanted list I guess! Who have you loved meeting in any of the Disney parks and who would you most like to meet?! Are you excited for my Disney posts?? I may only be gone 5 days but get ready for a whole heck load of photos. :P

  1. Your pictures are soo cute I love the one of Stitch! My favourite character of all time is Brer Rabbit but he never comes out. When I went to Disney World in May I actually found him dancing in one of the shows! I tried to get a picture/autograph but as soon as it was over they led him away :( It's quite sad in Disney now because they don't just walk around the parks anymore you have to queue for HOURS!

    1. Oh it was the most amazing time with Stitch! I thought being an adult and all they wouldn't be bothered with me but he grabbed me out of the line and was kissing me and hugging me. He put his hands in front of my partners at the times face and wiped his autograph book on his bum, then got down on one knee with me. It was amazing!!
Ahh its a shame that there are 'rare' ones that get whisked away and can only be found in certain places. Hope you meet him one day! x

I met Ariel but would love to meet her with her tail in the castle instead of in her dress...is that picky? haha

I can't wait to see your pictures afterwards - Disney World is on my bucket list but until I get there I'm doing it vicariously through everyone else.
Hope you find Jack Skellington, that photo would be amazing.

  4. I met Jasmine and Aladdin and they are awesome! I really want to meet Mulan... Disney World usually has some Florida Resident specials in the spring time so I'm hoping to go back to WDW then... I can't wait to see your posts though, especially since I've never been to Disneyland!

  6. How cute are these photos, love them. I always love to meet Minnie, hands down she is one of my faves and top of my wishlist to meet is the 7 dwarfs.
I notice DLP always seems crazy for character meets although I once spotted a lonely Duffy so of course had to grab a hug and photo, I always feel a bit out of place queueing for the characters at it's mainly children or at least when i'm there haha but I just have to, the Disney cruise was by far the easiest place to meet quite a few though

    1. Minnie is awesome. I got some super cute photos of us (haha talking as if we're friends and stuff).
Oh I found the characters (and staff) were absolutely amazing with us, considering we were adults.
I hope it's the same this time... I'd love to do a cruise but I doubt it'll ever happen!
