Disneyland Paris 2014 // Fantasyland Part 2.

I'm just gonna start out with an apology for the amount of photos in this post. It's pretty evident now why I had to make this a double post 'cause I was apparently a little too snap happy in Fantasyland.

This post is all about Alice! The Mad Hatters Tea Cups and Alice's Curious Labyrinth. Annddd, maybe a couple sneeky shots of the beautiful Le Carrousel de Lancelot that makes me feel like I'm in one of Berts Chalk paintings <3

I adore tea cups in general but these ones just seem extra special. I'd say they could put a smile on anyones face but I'd be lying as we had a bit of a down first day not being able to get in contact with home and it did nothing for my mood haha. I have other photos from that day where I look like a spoilt, moody toddler - so embarrassing but funny. It's all memories though isn't it? Just look at the scenery though. We stood for a good while appreciating how gorgeous the water is, the topiary is and of course the wildlife was (lots of starlings!).
Can you believe these were taken in October? We were so lucky with the weather!

Running through the maze, dodging the jets of water and singing along to the Wonderland music is always so special and fun. Bumping into strangers and laughing about it is not usually something that I'd welcome in everyday life but this place makes it an exception. Another thing I have to mention as a MUST DO is climb the Red Queens castle and see the view across the whole land, right across to Cinderella's Castle and even the Tower of Terror in the Walt Disney Studios park. It brings a tear to my eye thinking about it and I just can't understand how any true Disney lover could not get emotional seeing all of your childhood in front of your eyes in real life.
Fun fact - I have a photo of me in the exact same place in front of Absolem in 1996, 2010 and 2014. It is and will continue to be my tradition for ever :P

A carousel to me is the epitome of  fairground fun and of course and Disneyland they do it right. As you enter the land from beneath the castle you are greeted with the view that Jane and Michael got when went down the road and over the hill, times 100!! Each horse is unique and stunning, even more so in the gorgeous morning sunrise. It's just a shame they can't hop off and take you on a country adventure...
