My Non-Resolutions, Resolutions // Take 2!

It seems the wave of 2014 Round Ups and 2015 Resolutions posts are over, so now it's my turn. haha Ever the crowd un-follower I don't like to post the same posts everyone else are. To me a feed full of the same posts to read is boring and nothing makes a particular one stand out to me, I assume it's the same for others. To check out last years post you can click here and I also did a 6 month update on how my goals were going which you can read here!

2014.

My Proudest Moment in 2014.
I'm probably going to have to say eventually getting around to doing something I've wanted to for years: putting together my very own calendar. It's a very strange thought to think that you guys actually like my photography enough to buy my work and hang it on your wall, even if only in calendar form, iI can't quite get my head around. I don't think many people realize just what it means to me and I cannot thank you enough if you were one of the people to support me. (Especially Leona, who amazes me everyday with how beautiful a person she is, she dedicated a post on her blog all about it!) Most importantly they are filled with photos that make me proud to live in the North East, as they were all taken here.

A Time When I Disappointed Myself in 2014.

See 'Strive to Achieve' below.

General Happy Highlights from 2014.

Packing a van, sitting in the back of it with all of our stuff and driving up the A1. If that makes no sense, maybe this post will help you out.
Jake landing a job that has actual shifts and great hours.

Renting our very first house! (Our 4th home together, though the others have been flats)
Reconnecting with old friends and making lots of new 'blog' ones.
Urm, DISNEYLAND!!!

What I Am Most Thankful for Last Year.

Jake. He needs to know that because I am the biggest snapper, nagger and moany lass to live with ever. I realize how lucky I am to have him, who works so hard for us and pays to keep a roof over our head and food in our tummies. I am the worrier, who stresses about the slightest thing so when he says 'don't worry' I don't always take his advice. I could not be more thankful though for his laid back-ness and everything he does for us...even if I could show it a bit more. Thanks babe.

2015.

Looking forward to this year.

Well unlike last years post, we haven't any holidays to Disneyland booked..booo :(! haha But hopefully we'll take a few trips in the UK throughout the year money depending. Right now I know were hoping to hit up Kielder again at some point (with Baker obviously!) and my Mam and I would love to make it down to the Harry Potter Studios Tour finally, but we'll just see what happens!

Am going to do differently.

This seems harder to answer than last year, and that's not to say that I don't think I can improve. I know with the blog I'm gonna force myself to quit procrastinating because I am awful at doing that, wasting time. Hmm, I suppose that is the main thing actually the same, except not just to do with the blog - I want to use my time more efficiently in general.

Strive to achieve.

I stick with my answer from last year (to partake in more charitable events etc) because although I did organize my first ever public charity event, I didn't do as much as I'd of liked to! Baker and I hosted a doggy sponsored walk for Guide Dogs for the Blind and raised over £400, Mam and I took part in our 4th Race for Life, I donated money to charities close to my heart as well as sparing change for those living without a home. Listing them like that makes me very disappointed in myself, even if I have had a busy and not so fruitful year. I promise next year I will do more for others again.

Other goals.

- Spend one day a month doing something out of our usual routine. i.e A day trip away etc.
- Regain my healthier eating regime, which I was doing awesome at before DLP.
- Meet at least one of what Jake calls my 'blogger best friends'.
- Get a freakin job!!
- And last but not least, just like last year, I'd love to be in the position to have a car again.

So there we have it. Come at us 2015, lets do this!
If you have a similar post that you'd like to share, pop it in the comments and I will fo' sho have a read. I'd love to know what are you favorite things to see here on Underland to Wonderland too so I can make sure to give you more of that, so tell me what posts have been your favorite from 2014 in the comments too, :)

  2. Your calendar looked amazing, if I had had more money I would have bought one - do you think you'll do another one this year too? I second your charity one too - I want to take part in more voluntary events as well and really grab this year before it gets away from me. - Tasha

    1. Aw bless you, thank you! Thats so sweet. I was gutted I couldn't find anywhere that would print them cheaper, I didn't even make much money from them after printing and postage but I didn't think anyone would buy them if they were any dearer.
I'm hoping to do some next year too, but it all depends on if I have enough photos worthy of being in a calendar! haha

Everyone should do a little more for charity, if everyone did one kind act the world would be a better place!
