This weeks word is - Bird
To quote Nelly Furtado, 'I'm like a bird, I wanna fly away!' This word means alot to me, so much so I have birds tattooed to me and spend a large percentage of my time photographing them, watching them, feeding them. I've flown birds of prey and talked to little birds that I pass on my daily business. If I could be any animal in the world it'd be a bird, to fly high above the world, be alone and see beautiful places or be with others and twitter on. I love birds :)

Question of the Week.

If you were to relive the whole of last year, what would you do differently?
Nothing. I could think, and think, and think some more about this but I'll always come back to the same answer. Regret nothing, learn from every mistake. Everything happens for a reason and if I were to change anything...I wouldn't be where I am now with who I am.

What about you?! Answer this weeks question and tell me the happy things that have happened to you this week in the comments!

  1. Honestly, if I were to relive last year all over again, I don't think I would want to change anything in particular. Maybe I would focus a bit more on my studies and not get sidetracked. I would probably try to keep more faith in myself and take on each opportunity that came more confidently rather than feeling unsure. I would try to accept every mistake and learn from them. Oh and obviously, speak my mind more often. I would definitely be more straight forward and speak my mind completely truly honestly. But then again, I don't really have much regrets, except that I should have spent much more time with my loved ones. :)
I hope you have a lovely week ahead.

    1. Oh I agree with your first point for when I was back in college! But that was a long time ago haha.
It's nice to hear you don't regret much - thats great! We really all could take more time to spend with family I think, I know I've tried to and even moved back to my home town with one of the reasons being to see my Nana more.
All the best to you for a great week too!

  2. I love this post, what a great way to reflect back on the week. I like days when I can get loads of washing done too (you know you're getting old when that makes you happy!)

I really like your view on reliving last year too! Life shouldn't be full of regrets.

  6. Oh I love this post, Danielle! Thank you so much for the mention - I'm glad you enjoyed my round up post. I would love a calendar of yours for 2016! Loads of great links here to check out, so will be busy over the next few days! If I could do anything differently last year I would have made sure I was more actively involved in some of the campaigns and yearly nature events I follow. Perhaps this year is the one for those! - Tasha

  10. I'd try and avoid the breakdown I had if I lived 2014 again. Still, even though I haven't completely left it behind.. I feel like there are positives I can take away from it. I just wish there was an easier way to find my ambition and motivation. This week was pretty awesome. I got a new charm for my bracelet that I'm pretty much in love with, I got my presentation over with and I met and got photos with two of the players of the ice hockey team I support. All in all, not a bad week. :)

    1. Aw Sara :( Bless you. I hope 2015 will be better for you. Glad to hear you had a good week, and go you doing a presentation - always my downfall at school or college, I'm not a good public speaker at all.

  11. If I could re-live last year, I think I'd take a bit more notice looking where I was going and not break my ankle! Having said that though, I did learn to knit so it wasn't all bad :-) xx

  12. Love these posts Danielle! (: I'm watching Friends on Netflix right now too! :D Lol, I agree with your answer. Even though there are times where I had wished I had done things differently, I don't think I'd change any of it because, like you said, I wouldn't be where I am now. And I like where I am now. (-:
