This weeks word is - Time
Time and I have a rollercoaster of a relationship, I'm sure you'll agree that most of us do.Recently I've been trying my hardest to use my time more efficiently and stop procrastinatingThe older I get the faster it seems to go and the more I want it to slow down so I can savor the good moments. Though...of course there are those days where I wish it would stand still, or even skip completely. It really is a crazy thing to think about when you get into it, seconds, minutes, hours, days. I'd love to meet the individual who came up with the measurements of time elapsed as they are today.

Question of the Week.

What does success mean to you?
Being happy. I don't car about posh cars, trendy clothes, flash holidays or stacks of cash from having a 'career'. My success is measured in the smiles and laughs from my family. How happy we are and how much fun we have. The amount of time we can spend doing the things we love because we don't have to be responsible for other people due to having a high position in a boring, depressing company,

  1. Love posts that introduce me to new bloggers, I'm going to give them all a look. I got way too excited when I saw that there's a Harry Potter tag! Lovely photo :)

    Roxie ♥

    1. Thank you! I hope you find some great new blogs to follow :) And yes! I have done it too a while back but the one listed is fabulous!

  2. I love that photo so much! What a great shot!

    1. Thank you!! I was pretty excited when I took it haha.

  3. That photo is stunning! I completely agree with you on defining success. Family means everything and to see them happy makes me feel successful! xx

  4. You are such an amazing photographer - I'm always impressed by your favourite photograph of the week, especially because they're usually nature themed!

Thank you for featuring me again :) I always love discovering new posts off the back of your weekly recommendations too - so nice of you to share the blogger love!

    1. Ah don't, I'm not all that! But thank you very much.

And of course you are more than welcome. I just like to make sure that credit is given where it is due.

  5. That picture is so nice! What camera do you use?x

    Elizabeth -

    1. Thank you! Just a Nikon D5000 just now, it's 4 years old broken in so many ways haha. Hoping to upgrade in the next couple months. Oh and this is on a 70-300mm lens.

  6. Hand on heart, I love Sundays purely because off these posts of yours. They are absolutely awesome. The photo of the bird with the worm it's his mouth.... you really make me want to go out and take photos of the beautiful wildlife I am surrounded by, but I am quiet inpatient, and my camera isn't the best for capturing those kind of photos. Do you think an dslr camera is necessary to take such photos? Now I'm going to relax with my cup of tea and read the rest of the links you posted, thank you once again for mentioning me. It really means a lot to me! :)

    1. Oh Miriam!!! You don't half know how to make someone tear up. Thank you so much. I can't express how much I appreciate having met you and for your constant support.
As for birding and wildlife I'd say yes and no to needing a DSLR. You really need to be able to adjust the shutter speed as animals are fast! However a lot of good point and shoots, like the ones you can get interchangeable lens for are quite good too and do most of the work for you - though the end result might not be of high a quality as a DSLR.
You are more than welcome beautiful.

  7. These posts always cheer me up and I've been enjoying looking at your favourite blog posts and having a nice catch up this morning. That photo is also stunning, your photography always lifts my spirits Danielle. - Tasha

  9. What a perfectly times photo of that little guy!

    I haven't seen a rainbow in ages!

Thanks again for the mentions too!

    1. Thank you! He sat there quite a while just posing for me, it was lovely.
Ah I'm sure rainbow season is on the way. You're always welcome!

  10. I'm pretty jealous of your antique Disney figurines. I remember seeing them on Twitter and they are so gorgeous! Thank you for linking my post, you absolute babe! Xx

    1. I love them! But they must be pretty rare as even Disperts (Disney experts) on the forums cant date them!
      Always welcome my lovely <3

  11. Perfect timing with that photo, just wonderful :) Sorry I'm so behind on visiting xox
