I came across a website with a really cool concept 'The Book of Everyone', while looking for Xmas gifts this past December, and really loved the idea! For one reason or another (money haha) I didn't grab one, so you can imagine my delight when a (very rare) email popped up in my inbox recently asking if I'd like to sample one for Mothers Day!
You can tell where I'm going with this, yeah? I was totally pumped and responded pretty promptly...compared to my usual forgetful self when it comes to replying to messages. Well, it arrived on Saturday and I wanted to get this up as as soon as I could to show it off and help anyone else out that may be struggling for a cool gift idea.
So the concept is simple, a fabulous keepsake book, tailored to the person you are giving it with facts, statistics and more all about them from their year of birth, with many other customizable aspects.
I have to admit that I am 100% in love with this idea, especially the pages that you can edit yourself to add your own quotes, photos and the like.
With different options there is something for all budgets, from a digital copy right up to a deluxe edition! I have the hardback copy and the quality for the price is brilliant! The pages aren't glossy like a normal 'photo book' and similar things but that suits me as I'm a matt type of girl anyways.
Shipping wise it arrived promptly, a lot faster than stated on the website and well packaged. It's just the right size to be slipped through the letterbox too so no worries if you aren't going to be in etc. (Oh, did I mention the shipping is free too? Thats such a huge plus for me because I hate paying for something then having an big extra postage cost on top!)
My Mam reads my blog (Hi Mam!!) so instead of ruining a surprise when she sees this post, I gave her it early. The verdict? In her words, ''Thank you for the lovely book you had made for me Danielle. Its very special. Lots of facts and things of interest all from 1955 - my birth year, but the little extras that you added made it just perfect. A great keepsake and something thats nice to share with others. Different and a great gift.'' A successful (early) Mothers Day I'd say!
Check out the Book Of Everyone here and let me know what you're planning for Mothers Day!
