This weeks word is - Blue
Usually the first thing that would come to mind with this word is the colour. The colour of the sky and sea and river, and a long time ago my hair.
But recently it describes how I feel when online. There hasn't been a particular issue to make me feel that way but just being on social media, trying to fit in etc is just not for me. I still adore my blog and writing posts but the 'community', as people call it, has changed drastically since I first found it and is saturated with pressure of views, followers, stats. Numbers!! I want blue to just be a colour again.

Other Articles etc of Interest.
None this week sorry guys! I've had a busy one and have been on the laptop 97% less than any normal week.
If you've read or seen anything cool lately feel free to share!

Question of the Week.
Who are your top three women who inspire you?
Pink, for her work with Peta and expressing her individuality. Alison Cronin for her and her late husband's work  rescuing, rehabilitating and giving a home to apes. And Cheryl Fernandez-Versini because of what she has done with her life after where she came from (I used to live where she was raised and it's not a nice place).

  1. Oh boy have I missed your sunday reflections! So glad to hear that Baker's confidence is building, it makes me so happy to see the same in my dogs!

    1. Aw Miriam!! I've missed seeing your name!! Thank you :) Yeah, he used to be amazing and love playing with dogs but after all of the attacks he's just been petrified of all dogs, so it was definitely awesome to see him play!

  2. Great post :) I really like your blog. I love that you support the blogger community so much :)

    Cylia -

  3. Big thank you, as always, for including me in these! Also, I absolutely love your interpretation of the BGH word - I completely agree with you. I wish blogging could go back to just being something fun rather than about gaining followers, but then, I've always tried not to give in to that side of it and keep it about having fun! Love all of the links to. - Tasha

    1. Oh Danielle & Tasha! I'm right there with the both of you.

Yes, I've come to accept that numbers matter, as much as I try to ignore them something or someone always makes it a point of reminding me of their importance. At times I feel as if attention to numbers deters my posting more regularly as I second guess my ideas quite a lot. To help my situation, I try to look at these numbers at most once a week and try to have fun the rest of the time.

Regardless of your numbers, I really love you guys's work and hope I never stop seeing it and deriving inspiration from you. Yes, you both inspire me.

    2. You guuyysss <3 You are the best! I love you both so much and both of you inspire me so much too!!!

I really need to try my hardest to get over this whole numbers malarky, but as you say - it is everywhere!
At least I know I'm in good company with you two being able to understand where I am coming from :)

  4. What a lovely post - it's really good that Baker's getting a lot more confident now. And yay for actually heat coming from the sun!

    1. Thank you!! :) Yeah, I am so relieved he had a good time, its been so difficult the past year with him being so scared. And I know right?! haha

  5. Being in the country in the middle of nowhere really is great isn't it!? Sometimes you just need to disconnect from the entire world. I do that everytime I visit my grandparents. The entire weekend is spent internet free and I love it! Great post, as always! :) Hope your weekend was awesome!

    1. It is!!! I can't wait for the day when we finally buy a house in the country! We live in a small town just now and it's pretty quiet too but I'd prefer to live in the middle of nowhere haha. Ah that sounds like a perfect weekend - family and peace :)
Thank you!! Hope you are well.

  6. That's really great news to hear that Baker has started playing with other dogs again! It'll be a shame is that horrible incident ruins his chance to have fun with other dogs again.
I made myself a little blog schedule on the weekend and I'm really in the blog writing mood! I need a life schedule too now haha!
Thanks for including my post in the round up!
I'm really looking forward to my letter!!

    1. Baby steps but yes, it's an improvement at least :)
It's why dog licensing needs to be brought back in but no one seems to agree with me :/

Ah thats awesome! Scheduling really does make me so much more productive.
      You're more than welcome.
