Seaside Baby Summer Photoshoot

A while back on Twitter, in the excitement following the arrival of my new camera, I decided to do a mega offer on my photography shoots. I only had one taker but it was someone I've been wanting to shoot with for quite a while so was really excited to see what we could do. Luckily we struck it super lucky with a perfect summery day for the morning we'd planned and I think I managed to take quite a good set - so much so I asked Chloe if she wouldn't mind me sharing a little handful of them here. So yeah, here they are...

Due to my anxiety, I haven't actually done any jobs for people who aren't friends or family for a couple of years now, but because I already knew Chloe I managed to relax enough and actually enjoy myself. We are really lucky to live in such a picturesque town and even luckier to have this area of town, Spittal, where we were able to be in a secluded secret garden, on the beach and in the park with a splash pad thingy all within 2 hours.
Anyways, that's it. haha Just a quick post to show off some of the photos of this absolutely awesome little dude - he did SO well!

I am actually hoping to plan a day of mini shoots in Newcastle if I get enough interest too. So if you are able to get to Newcastle and would like a 1 hour mini photoshoot, with 10-20 fully edited digital images for only £15 (usually £60!) get in touch!
[They can be used for anything - pet portraits, OOTD/blog photos (3 changes max) or just some nice professional shots of yourself. No child portraits though sorry as these take longer.]

  2. Great photos Danielle!! He is so adorable! I know it is extremely hard to take pictures of babies sometimes! I always struggle to get really nice photos of my niece. Now she just hides from the camera!

    1. Thank you! Oh isn't he, he was brilliant too, such a good lad! I have to admit, I'd much prefer to work with babies and animals than older kids or adults haha!
If she hides you just have to get sneaky and snap her when she doesn't know :P

    1. Thanks so much! We struggled a little with the lighting on the beach as it was just so bright and it was making him look extra pale but I think I made it work in some shots.

  4. Danielle these are AMAZING!! Seriously captured the awesomeness of that little dude. That first one of him walking on the beach is just, ach, incredible. I'm struggling not to be gushy but if I had a jot of your talent I'd be one very happy lady.

  6. LOVE your picts!! They are filled of emotion! I get all giddy just looking at these images.

While a large part of the beauty of these images is the background, the majority comes from your talent.
