This weeks word is -  Exist
To exist is to be but not to live. Conversely, I often think about how we know if we really do exist at all. How do we know that it isn't all a dream going on inside our own head, like with Alice in Wonderland. Though as Dumbledore said, 'Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?' I'm getting myself confused! :P

Question of the Week.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Well I don't like to refer to them as 'ghosts' but I do believe in the paranormal. However, people usually associate spirits with being people who haven't crossed over to the other side/Heaven etc because of unfinished business or the like, but obviously I am an atheist and so don't believe in another side to begin with. It's a long story and this is a long winded answer but overall - yes and I have had 4 or 5 experiences in my life to make me think so.

  1. Wow! You made it all the way back to the 1600s in your family tree!?! Thats so cool! I don't really know much about my biological father's family and my great grandfather on my moms side never really knew his father so I don't think I would get very far with my family tree. It would be so nice to be able to look back at all that history though!!
I definitely believe in the paranormal too. Although i've never really had any experiences myself. I would Love to read about yours though!

    1. Yeah!! I was so excited! I got further back on one side than the other but it was still cool to see what trades ran in the family. As long as you know the surnames and approx year of birth of both of your parents its possible! I was thinking about doing a post about it but I'm not sure how to structure it.
Would you??? I might write them up!

  2. Thank you for including me in your round-up of posts, lovely! You're always so supportive. I love reading your comments on my Feel Good Friday posts (and my other posts as well, of course!).

I can't believe that CEO buys each of his staff a holiday every year - that's so incredible and generous!

    1. No problem! Aw bless you - as are you!!

It's brilliant isn't it? I love people who's lives don't just revolve around money!

  3. A tax rebate is pretty neat, I'm currently hoping & dreaming I get one but I honestly doubt I will get one 😂 I'd love to book tickets for Disney on Ice for our niece at some point!
Thank you for featuring my Pizza in the Park post too ❤️❤️❤️

    1. I haven't had one in yeaaarrrs but Jake works a heck load and I think he was on emergency tax when he started at this place so it's from that :) He bought himself a new TV.
This will be the first time I've been as an 'adult'. I used to go all the time as a kid so I hope it lives up to my memories :P
Of course! I loved it and ended up having to make my own pizza lol

  4. Thank you so much for featuring me again Danielle! It's always really appreciated and I'm so happy you liked the post! Tax rebates are the absolute best! xx

    1. You're so sweet - it's not a problem! <3
