Early Autumn Walkies!

As it's nearing winter and the colours are disappearing, I thought we'd take a flash back to the beginning of Autumn and bring you along on a dog walk to our special park where we captured the little things that to me sums up Autumn.
I'll let the photos do the talking and if you'd like to see a similar post from last year, you can check it out here > Autumn. Up Close.

In the comments let me know what one thing to you is the epitome of this season for you?

  2. Your photos are amazing, Danielle! You are so talented!!
I'm missing the beautiful colours that you get at the beginning of Autumn now that all the leaves are off the trees and unfortunately in a squishy mess on the ground. All those soggy leaves are a nightmare for flooding in our area. I must say I'm sort of pleased that it's starting to feel like chilly Autumn now though. It means I don't feel as bad thinking about Christmas!

    1. Oh you, stop it! hahaha Thank you so much.
Yeah I wish the colors would stay all year round! For some reason today my town council seems to be out with leaf blowers and brushes getting rid of the gloopy leaves...our drains get blocked by them too causing flooding - crazy. Hope you haven't had any of that really bad flooding near you!

  3. It's the colours isn't it? It has to be the colours. They're just incredible in the Autumn.
Bakers' little face lit up my morning, as usual! Beautiful snaps.

  7. What beautiful photographs, as always, Danielle! I love the photographs of Baker and how you've captured the sparkle of rainfall on plants - such beautiful little details.

I'm sad the colour is starting to drain away - I love the bright blue skies and golden leaves of autumn. You really can't beat a cold, colourful autumn walk, then coming home to a warm house and a big mug of hot chocolate.

    1. Ah you sweet heart, thank you.

I wish there were multicolored trees and bushes like the ones in this post, all year through! ha So pretty. Now that that time has passed I'm waiting on Spring :P Not a fan of being cold.

  10. I LOVE the photo of the fly and the dandelion! I love simple posts like these just some photos of all the things you enjoy.

To go with popular opinion, the colours are pretty great. But I also really enjoy the seasonal food and the blue skies and crisp days. Autumn sunsets, now they are something - I saw some cracking sunsets this year.

Also, I'm loving the layout changes. I really like the blue edge!

  12. Gorgeous photos as always. I love nibbling rosehips when I'm walking Pepé in the woods. I always did it on walks with my dad as a child. Full of vitamin e and so sweet. Just dint eat the itchy seeds inside.
