OOTD // September Sunsets

Before I start off this post I have to say how proud I am of my Mam! She took the photos of me (I took the rest) in this post and is getting better at using my camera :) I set the settings and she is learning how to focus and compose a shot and I think she did pretty well don't you?!

This outfit was just for a trip over to town. Some Tuesdays I meet Mam from work and we pop over for any bits we may need from the shop and sometimes a drink and a piece of cake at Cafe Nero. After our little catch up Mam walked part of the way home with me and obliged in taking some photos for me for this post. The weather was perfect and the sunset glow gorgeous! So much so that we sat for a good 25mins until her bus watching the birds and playing with the camera.

What I Wore
Glasses - Silver reflective Aviators, Primark
Necklace - Personalized Minnie Tag, Disneyland Paris
T-shirt - Long Sleeved White Top, Dorothy Perkins
Jumper - Lilac and Lime Crochet Style Jumper, George at Asda
Trousers - Black Jean Leggings, New Look
Shoes - Peach Check Slip Ons, Vans
Backpack - Minnie Mouse Print Backpack, Vans

You may think this is rather sunny weather for November...so I must admit that this was actually back on the 29th of September :P It's nice to look back at though eh? And just look at where I live!!! I feel like everyone must see me as a proper bragger but I'm just so appreciative of my town. This location is literally not even a 3 minute walk from my front door. Amazing.
Tell me about your favorite place where you live!!

  1. You look lovely Danielle! I adore that jumper. It's got just the right amount of colour to it, gorgeous.

Also I am insanely jealous of how picturesque your town is. You don't really get places like that down here, it's all too overpopulated. Not that we don't have some nice places in Herts. There's a town next to ours that has such a lovely quaint feel to it and a stunning cathedral, I like to go there a lot :) xx

    1. Aw thank you! Oh me too, It's so comfy. I wish there had been more colours as I'd have bought them all...it's years old now though ha.

I am very lucky but it took me living in a city and moving back to appreciate it as much as I do now.
It's always nice when theres even places just near by that you can visit to 'escape' etc :)

  4. Well done to your mum! I've never used a 'proper' camera before - I literally wouldn't know where to start! She's taken some gorgeous shots though - and, you're right, what a beautiful backdrop you're lucky to have!

As a very green city, I think my favourite thing about Glasgow is all the parks I can wander around (when the weather stays dry!).

    1. I'm rather proud of her haha. I've used DSLRs since I was about 14 and have an A Level and National Diploma in it so try to teach my Mam some stuff too so that I can get good photos of me when in Disneyland lol!!

You know, I've actually only been to Glasgow airport and always thought it would be a rather 'concrete' city, so it's nice to hear there are parks!

  5. Aw your mum did so well! You look lovely as well, and what a beautiful day! I love your necklace too. You always seem to be able to visit the most beautiful of places, I think I need to come and move up north- is there room for me, Lady and Dan to come live with you guys? Lady and Baker could be girlfriend and boyfriend! ;) xxx

    1. Didn't she?! She's a star!
      Thank you!

The 'North' and Northumberland in particular really is very underrated! You should definitely come up sometime.

  6. I like your mums photos :) Your local area is just gorgeous, I need to come explore!

The jumper is cute too and I'm glad I'm not the only person that always wears a vest top under a cropped jumper. No one needs to be getting their bellies out.
