Just Around The River Bend

Between Christmas and New Year, Dad came with Baker and I for a little exploring. We're always trying new places (within walking distance just now, with having no car) to take Baker. Both so that he is kept stimulated, sniffing new things etc and to keep away from other dog walkers.
It was a last minute decision to visit this destination as it is in fact usually completely under water! This is the mouth of the river Tweed at low tide, literally just over the bridge from our house. We did, in fact, meet one dog walker but as they saw me call Baker further out, he called his dog back which thankfully had good recall...not as common a trait as it should be!

Anyways, this was meant to be another photo only post so here you go. Let me know your favorite photo in the comments and where is your dog's favorite place to explore?

  5. JUUST AROUND THE RIVERR BEEEEND! <3

My fave photo (if I HAVE to choose) is the 5th one down of Baker and the sun reflecting on the water, but all of them are stunning. I love the one of your dad and Baker having a peek into a hole in the wall! I love shots like that :)

Usually I'd be like "oh I wish I had a dog :(" but I do now yaayyyyy!! So fave his fave exploring place is behind the bins in the yard... we can't take him out for walks for another couple of weeks I think but we're getting him used to his collar and lead! Well, the rest of the fam are, but I'm hoping to go visit again soon. Dogs are the best <3

    1. lol Are you a fan of that movie??

Thank you! I love the one of them peeking in the wall too. Baker is so nosey, he has to see whatever you are doing.

It feels like the longest time ever waiting until they are able to go on their first walk, but it's worth the wait haha. Hope his first walk was awesome!

  9. These pictures are so cool! The one of the dog print was mind-bending, it looked like the print was coming out of the sand instead of pressed into it :) I also like the very first picture a lot.
