The First Day of Spring

Spring has sprung and gosh did our Mother Nature bless us with a beautiful day to mark the occasion?! :)  March 20th was apparently the 'offical first day of Spring' and because it was such a georgous day we headed for our favorite little secret park for little man to have some fun.
I took a handfull of photos but was too busy playing with Baker to get many good ones. Mehh. I still wanted to post them in this only scrapbook/diary of mine though :)

I've been getting a little frustrated with all of my photos recently because (if I hadn't mentioned it ;P) I'm stuck using my rubbish old 18-55 after the loss of my fave lens. Still, photographically unappealing or whatever, they're memories!

Was the first day of Spring pretty where you live?? Did you get outside and enjoy it?

  1. These are great pics! I am so glad Spring is here! I'm loving lighter nights and warmer days. Although its been rather 'April torrential showers' the last day or so! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x

    1. I'm not the biggest fan of it being light at 9pm when I'm trying to sleep - but everything else is amazing haha

  2. You take the most beautiful photos, it also helps that your little doggy is very photogenic. I adore that sky photo!

  4. I still love the photos but I know how you feel about the ol' 18-55, that lens is poo to use, but I still love the photos and all the spring-ness about them.

    1. Why do they even make that the 'standard' lens. It's standardly rubbish. Urgh.
I can't wait to show you around and get photo tips from you!

  5. Lovely photos! The brighter skies, longer days and spring flowers make such a difference don't they! I even bought myself a bunch of daffodils for my room, probably the first time I've ever bought myself flowers :)

  6. Really great photos Danielle! Nature is truly beautiful! Look at Baker, so cute! I know I comment a lot about Baker in the comments but it's only because I truly think that He looks like such a healthy dog, shiny coat and a truly happy expression. Just by looking at baker I can see how much he gets from you!

    Love,

  9. These are beautiful Danielle! You look like you all had a lovely day, the shot of Baker and your Mum is so sweet too. I especially love the shots of the blue tit and the periwinkle flower climbing up that fence, lovely. Spring has finally sprung! - Tasha

    1. Thank you. Oh Baker loves his Granny so much! That was sadly the only photo I managed to get of the Blue Tit as he flew away :(
