The Making of Harry Potter // Part 5

Yes, it's time for another heck load of my many, many Studio Tour photos! This one is centered around some of the props, transport and quidditch and I thought I'd leave it to be predominantly imaged focused, seeing as most of this stuff speaks for itself and I don't have too much more to add!

With most  parts of the tour I was left awestruck and it was crazy to think how some of these things were actually real and not just 'movie magic', but with most of this section of props etc I could believe they were real...if you get what I mean haha - especially with the Quidditch bits and pieces. Though something that did strike me was the sheer scale of certain things. The objects I expected to be smaller, were larger and vice versa. Crazy!

That's it for part 5 but you can check out the previous posts in this mini-series below and there are lots more on the way!

Part 1 - Outside and Lobby Area
Part 2 - Opening the Doors to the Great Hall (with video!)
Part 3 - Gryffindor Common Room, Dormitory and Dumbledore's Office.
Part 4 - Potions Classroom and Hagrids Hut

  1. I've been to this tour twice and I really loved it! I've not been for about 3 years, so I need to go back! Tania xx taniamichele.blogspot.co.uk

    1. Twice?! How fab! This was our first and only visit and I don't think I'll go back with it being so far away...unless there are huge changes & new stuff to see.

  2. Oh I love this! The level of detail on these, like Slughorn's hourglass, is just phenomenal and I never get tire of seeing the door to the Chamber of Secrets either, it's just so cool. I must try and get onto this tour at some point to see these up close. Amazing photos! - Tasha

    1. Isn't the detail amazing?! The snitch and Moody's trunk were the things that most wowed me for some reason. The door was amazing too!! So real and you can see all the mechanics that make the snakes move - crazy.
It's a must do at least once in your life for sure.

  4. The Harry Potter studio tour was one of the best experiences I've ever had. You get completely sucked into this world and it i incredible, how many props and details went into the work. I haven't read all of your posts yet but hope to see the massive 3D model of Hogwarts! My first visit was back in 2012 and I imagined spending nearly 45mins in the shop alone. Would love to go there again, especially as they are having the Hogwarts Express there. I was also looking at their special dining experience at the Great Hall but at £250 per person, this is a bit too pricey for me.

    1. It must be fab to live so close, makes a visit a lot cheaper and easier to visit. This is the 5th post and I'm just about half way so still the Hogwarts Express and Hogwarts model to come among lots more!
I can't think £250 is very affordable for many people unfortunately :(

    1. Ah bless you. I'm the same with so many other peoples blog posts haha. Just think, the longer it takes you to get there - the more there will be as they just keep adding and adding!

    1. Aren't they crazy?! I think the snitch and Moodys trunk were most amazing to see for some reason but I've no idea why.
