Kielder Forest Charity Walk // Day 1, Part 1

Some of you may know that last month, on the 20th of June, Dad and I set out on a little walk to raise a little money for two causes close to our family. My Mam's Mam (Nana) has Parkinson's and Dad's Mam (Grandma) has Alzheimers/Dementia and so those where our causes of choice.
In total we walked upwards of 32 miles, in around 10 hours, over two days. Dad has spondylitis and I have early stages of arthritis as well as asthma so that's not a bad feat I think. Especially as normally the furthest we'd walk in one day would probably be no more that 7-8 miles.

(Day 1 = 17 miles in approx 5hr 33mins, Day 2 = 15 miles in approx 4hr 36mins including little snack/drink breaks)

Because I took so many photos to document our time together and prove to people we did actually do it(!!), I'm going to split them into a few separate posts - Day 1 in two parts, Day 2 in two parts and the Birds of Prey Centre. This is a tiny portion of what I took on day one and as there are so many I'll just leave you here and let the photos do the talking. Thanks for checking it out :)

Part 2 coming soon.

    1. I'm not 100% with them but they were just quick snaps while we walked I guess. Day 2 was a lot better as the weather stayed bright and no rain! Thank you :D Me too! I got it especially for the walk lol

    1. It's amazing isn't it? There was recently a study and apparently it is the quietest place in the UK! Thank you very much for saying that, we tried very hard and it means a lot <3
