Kielder Forrest Charity Walk // Day 1, Part 2

This is the second half of our first day on the charity walk at Kielder Water and Forest. I took a lot of photos over the 17ish miles that day so I decided to split the original post in two instead of having a photo overload! Make sure to click here and pop over to the part 1 to this post which will explain more about the adventure...plus there are lambs. :)

As with the previous post I'll keep the writing short and sweet so you can just have a nose at the photos. I will say though that you may be able to tell through the photos how crazy the weather was. It was pretty mild but one minute it was super dark skies and heavy showers, the next minute it was bright sunshine...so it isn't my camera settings being wrong, it's just the natural light going mental.
Hope you like the photos.

Next up will be Kielder Birds of Prey, followed by Day 2 parts 1 & 2!

    1. It is! On the second day we only maybe passed 3 people who were biking in the opposite direction and while walking the actual trails on the 1st day I don't think we passed anyone, only saw people at Leaplish.
Jake is up for a little mini break if ever we can sort one out for the 4 of us!

  3. Stunning photos. If I was going to do a long walk like that for charity, I'd want it to be somewhere as breathtakingly beautiful as this! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x

    1. Thank you :) Agreed! At times it was very hard and the silence, views and fresh air helped a lot.

  5. Beautiful photos here Danielle, that first shot is just stunning! Love those tall trees too, there's just something comforting about walking in deep woodlands isn't there? I love those markers on the stones as well - were they for how many miles you'd walked or were they for something related to Kielder itself? Ooh I am excited for the birds of prey section of these too! - Tasha

    1. Thank you! I have a lovely photo of my Mam and Dad under the tall trees along the straight path. Not a clue about the markers, theres no info on them but I assume they're to help people find their way.
