My Life in Photos // November

After last month's day in photos, I wanted to try and choose a day that'd I'd be doing a little more than just sitting editing photos for 5+ hours, for November's day in photos. It's not like I have a super busy life in general but I did have a rather long to-do list on the 17th. So yeah, here's what I got up to on a Thursday in November.

1 // Silly me forgot to pick up my camera when I left for work at 10 to 6, great start to the day in photos, so here is a quick pic of the sky from my front door after I got home around 7.40.
2 // Kicking the day off slowly, Baker and I settled down for a sofa cuddle and catch up on Counting On.
3 // Then we had a nap. I'm not going to justify it or apologize. I'm poorly and that makes me forever lethargic.
4 // There are few things better than lentil soup in winter.
5 // As I was heading out into the great wide world, I had to get dressed. Not that I wasn't dressed, but I mean into non-work clothes. I was going to straighten my hair but like 30mins before I was due to leave there was a huge power cut. (We later found out it affected the whole county apparently! That's a big area!)

6 // I have to pass this park whenever I go to meet Jake or Dad from work and it really freaks me out. It used to be where Baker and I would go to play but one day 2 really creepy men were watching us and tried to call Baker over. We sneaked off the field and they followed us until we entered the training estate where all the factories are. It was super scary and that story wasn't really necessary so let's move on.
7 // After meeting Dad we popped to Asda to use the Post Office. Luckily they have their own generator as the power was still out!
8 // Back home and Bman loves to see his Granda. Especially when he gets the dregs of his tea!
9 // I took the chance, seeing that the electric was back on, to tick some more off the day's to-do list. Housework done, I moved onto the laptop focused things.
10 // Lastly I grabbed some mini potato waffles and broccoli for tea, while sorting some memory cards and Baker had a chill by the halogen heater up until bedtime.

A busy, productive, organized day is always a good day. What is your average Thursday like??

  1. Awww, he loves tea, that is so sweet. I used to give my dog herbal tea as he got as a puppy from the breeder, but I stopped and now he will not drink tea. Although he likes a bit of orange juice.
You did a lot of things, a very busy day. x

    1. He's awkward though because if I make him a little bit for himself he won't touch it! He only wants it if it's the end of someone elses cup haha. Haha Orange juice?! Crazy.
It was more productive than the photos make it seem anyway!

  2. Aww, lovely photos of Baker as always! You're so motivated, I wish I had your motivation! I had a similar experience once when walking my mum's dog in a nearby park. There was some sort of dodgy drug deal going on, and the guys kept staring at me. Whether they thought I was going to call the police, I don't know. But needless to say I got very freaked out as they kept looking over at me, that I promptly left! Thursday's are my day off, I usually go out with my mum. If I'm not out with my mum I'm catching up on chores, reading, or blogging; usually with a film on in the background! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x

    1. Thank you :)
Oh believe me, I'm not always! Hence the naps - I have issues with my blood so I'm always shattered haha!
Oh no, that's awful. It's really scary isn't it?
Aw Thursday's sound like a good day! That's pretty similar to my Mondays as that's Mams day off.

  3. I completely agree about the lentil soup! It's one of my favorite meals to make all year round but especially in winter.
I would be freaked out by that park too. The gate looks a bit creepy and with that story to go with it I can understand the hesitation to go there again.

    1. Yes! My OH hates it but I think it's the best thing ever!

Right? It used to be so much fun to go there as we usually had it to ourselves, but better safe than sorry...

  5. Lovely photos of Baker here, and I love your Hogwarts t-shirt! I've not had lentil soup for ages but it's the best thing come winter so I need to make some again soon. The story about those two men at the park was very creepy - it's always off-putting when strangers behave like that and make you feel wary, and it's a shame they turned you away from the park then because of it, but I understand as then you're wary of it happening again. Also, I love the colours in the sky in that first shot! - Tasha

    1. Thank you! Oh get some this week, it's a magical food lol.
Yeah it was pretty creepy and one of my biggest fears is anything happening to Baker so I was on extra high alert.
      Thank you :)
