Quarterly Collective Haul // October - December 2016

As I said in the last quarterly haul, I did try a little harder to keep up with stuff this time around haha. Though, to be fair that was only taking notes at the end of each month of what I'd bought, been given/gifted etc. There will be a separate Disneyland Paris haul coming soon so as not to extend this post far too much, and therefore below are the few bits I have bought myself over the past 3 months along with both Birthday and Christmas gifts!

I usually like to keep all the same type of things together in sections but, of course, I want to share my birthday gifts in the groups I received them in. I'm forever grateful for my friends in general and for the amazingly thoughtful presents they always give.
Above, the wonderful Alice themed bundle with cosy slippers (and eaten almost immediately chocolates) was from Laura :) The super special Minnie with Magical Creature colouring (and also promptly devoured chocolates) came from Claire. And the last image (minus more sweeties) were all from my Mam.

This clothing was primarily bought for going to Disneyland! The white Minnie/Mickey jumper and olive marl joggers are from Forever 21, somewhere I've never really thought to shop before but spotted these and am so glad I ordered due to how soft and comfy both are.
I needed new shoes anyway and so put some birthday money from Nana, a gift card and birthday money from Mam together to get another pair of Vans. They are pretty much the only brand of shoes I wear and my previous black and white slip ons lasted around 9 years before I had to say goodbye to them age 21!
A smaller jacket/coat was on my wishlist too because I didn't want to walk around DLP like the Michelin Man. I decided on this gilet from Primark for only £15. It isn't overly puffy and is rather cosy.

This is probably the first quarter in a few that I haven't had 25 odd DVDs to share with you, that's a little sad, but it's become a bit of an addiction and I'm trying to not to go overboard, in particular at this time of year with bills being higher. There were however 3 new movies that came to DVD that I grabbed (The BFG, Pete's Dragon and Finding Dory) however 1 was bought by Jake and the others I used money I'd earned letting Tilly and Brook out :P The rest were bought secondhand as usual, from Amazon, eBay and my fave Cex!
As you can see there were only a couple books added this quarter. I bought Poor Unfortuate Souls, Pete's Dragon (which ended up being free with a promotion) and Fantastic Beasts. The Narnia set was a very kind gift from Kerri :D

I also wanted to quickly include what we (Baker and I) got for Christmas in this collective haul, like I did last year, instead of separate posts. I don't need to go through it all...because you can see it in the photo haha but thank you so much Mam and Dad, Claire and Kerri for the always extremely thoughtful gifts.
It was so weird to have Harry Potter outshine Disney this year haha, but it's impossible for anyone to get me Disney books or movies seeing as I barely know what I have myself, let alone other people ha!
Baker didn't get as much this year but he got presents from Disneyland just a couple weeks ago and has so many toys already he didn't really need anything to be honest. He did need a coat though so we were happy to find this one that is perfect for his body shape.

And so that wraps up my October, November and December haul. Remember I did have my birthday in October and Christmas in December so I haven't really gone too overboard with the purchases really. That's it until March! Until then you can check out previous collective hauls below.

    1. Right? I love socks, forever the best gift and I can't believe I didn't get more this year! It is! I saw it the day it came out so hadn't seen any reviews until afterwards and was surprised that a lot of people weren't fans!

  2. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the books :) I think they have the most beautiful illustrations in them. Although, I cannot imagine how big they will get if they decide to do the entire series (or how expensive!)

    1. Over the moon with them, you really shouldn't have! They are beautiful and I'm so glad they're in my collection. I hope they do the whole series or my collection will be incomplete! Though yes, it will get super expensive... Thank you again <3

  3. I love your haul posts, as you always have the cutest things and I love that you include Baker's new things too. When I had my guinea-pigs I used to love going shopping for them and buying them new bits when I could - I think the best thing I got for them were little wooden Christmas chew toys in the shapes of stars and Christmas trees! I love the Bambi top and the photos of you with Jack Skellington - squee! - so cute! I think he'd be my favourite meet at DLP. That Narnia set is gorgeous as well, how lovely. Glad your domain was all sorted out for you too. :) - Tasha

    1. Ah thank you! My friends and family find the cutest stuff too. I'm so lucky how thoughtful people are with my gifts.
Aw yes my hamsters and rabbits had similar things. I love buying bits for small animals, there's such cool stuff. I saw a wooden pirate ship that I wanted for my hamsters but I had 3 hammies at the time and they were like £35 so it was a no go haha.
I have a full post of Meet and Greets to post at some point so there will be more photos of me and Jack in that! He was a brilliant meet!!
Oh me too haha. Thanks Tasha!!
