Sunday's come around so fast eh? Even faster for me as I wrote last weeks and this post on the same day haha - you know I love my scheduling. For the explanation of what is going on please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.
Who do you love and what are you doing about it?
I love my dog and I am currently hugging him on the sofa while typing one handed. I also love my parents and partner and I tell them so every single day.
What's a belief that you hold with which many people disagree?
It'd be easier listing the ones that people agree with haha!! I have many obscure beliefs, from trivial, fantastical things to more serious, important things. I don't know how clever it is to share them here in the event of backlash, though.
There was a blog post a while back that I wrote about a few more light-hearted things I believe in but I can't find it, so perhaps I will do another soon, talking about why I 100% believe that fairies and 'mermaids' really exist.
What can you do today that you were not capable of a year ago?
This one takes a bit more thought. I can't think of anything off the top of my head. Hmm. I can resist chocolate? Does that count? haha In all seriousness it's actually quite a big thing for me as last year I could barely go a day without chocolate. I did do the Dechox for British Heart Foundation in March (or April, I can't remember). Now I am technically on day 15 with no chocolate - minus my homemade vegan chocolate mug cake.
Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
Both? Is it even related? I cry all the time. Daily in fact. As luck would have it [SPOILER ALERT] I'm watching the death scene of Dobby right now and how could anyone not cry at that? I think I am quite a strong person these days and cry just as much, if not more, than I did years ago when I was a 'weaker' person.
What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
Probably share my opinions. Remember, you are only allowed an opinion if it is the same as everyone elses...especially online.
Do you celebrate the things you do have?
Celebrate as in cherish and fully appreciate, I do.
What is the difference between living and existing?
I'm no philosopher but surely existing is being here in body and/or mind but not experiencing life. For example doing the same mindless activities day in day out, routinely and with no thought or passion. To me, living is exploring and adoring our stunning natural world. It's taking in as much as you can be it knowledge through learning or experience or memories through travel and relationships.
Make sure to look back on this same post from 2013 here, and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.
