A Day in My Life // March

Saturday, March 18th.
A Day in My Life.

Did anyone notice anything with this series? I missed February! The first time I've missed a month in this project :O. I even had a week off work in Feb and had planned on doing it during one of those days but apparently, I forgot. Gutted. Anyway, I picked back up in March with Mam and I's trip up to Edinburgh to see Beauty and the Beast. For those who don't know, I live in a smaller town and the only 'cinema' we have doesn't get movies until they've been out quite a while, so it's either 60ish miles North or 60ish miles South if we wanna see anything opening weekend. Here's our day.

1 // You're probably bored of seeing photos of the sky from my morning walks to work. But I'm not.
2 // Out of work at 7.30 and into Cafe Nero for a quick drink before the train.
3 // I forgot/could not be bothered to get the camera out of the case until we were already at the Omni Centre. Plus it was raining.
4 // Because of the rain I kept the camera away but we had an hour to kill before the cinema so we had a look around John Lewis. Then it was Beauty and the Beast time! (My camera wouldn't focus in the dark! And there was not even one billboard, cutout or poster for the movie to photograph - gutted.)
5 // Despite my raging headache we had to grab food so tried Tony Macaroni for the first time. I also took my first paracetamol tablet in my life.

6 // After the cinema we had a look in some shops, ending in Primark and then giving up and retiring to the gardens as it was SO insanely busy. (Silly us hadn't checked and it was a Rugby day)
7 // We met a beautiful staffy girl who gave me kisses and had a seat to rest before walking through the rest of the gardens toward the station, where we bumped into this babe!
8 // I wonder how many people actually look up and appreciate how pretty Edinburgh Waverly is.
9 // Finally on the train home but just as it was outbound, again we didn't get the preferences we'd asked for :( There needs to be more room for quiet coaches as some of us mentally cannot cope in the loud, rowdy, child and drunk person filled regular coaches.
10 // Home to my baby <3
11 // And after that long day (I got up at 5am), I was excited to climb into bed with this book.

I'm still so gutted I missed February's day in photos, but I hope you enjoyed seeing a day in March through photos. Make sure to pop over to A Day in My Life // January and also let me know what you got up to last month! Feel free to link your posts in the comments :)

  1. I love seeing your morning sky photos - I rarely (read: never) see it with my own eyes so it's nice to see it through your photos! I still haven't seen Beauty and the Beast yet, can you believe that?! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x

    1. Ah thank you :)
No way!! Ohh you'll love it (I hope) haha. Maybe better to wait for the DVD so you can cry at home instead of the cinema lol.

  2. How can we get bored of Sky photos when they look that pretty?? Florida has really taught me to appreciate the sky more, it's so pretty early in the morning and often looks like candy floss here, and at night I love the golden hour when every things bright before the sun sets! :) It looks like you had a fun little trip! Yay for daffodil pictures, I am yet to see any here in Florida and they are my favourite!
    Have a great day! :)

    1. Glad to hear it ;) It changes so much it can rarely be boring to look at I think.
Thank you! Apart from the busy Rugby crowds it was fab. Always enjoy a cinema trip with Mam.

  5. I think I'm spoilt by having a few big cinemas really close, so its very rare I don't have access to a film I want to see (time to see it is a different matter altogether of course!) - I can't imagine what it must be like to have to travel so far for a new release, but I suppose its a nice excuse for a day out!

    1. It's something you don't think about until you don't have it. When I lived in Newcastle we went more often and in college we went like at least once a week!
It is a nice day out...but the cost adds up so is a rare treat.
