Baker's Fun at Ford

Back in April, when the weather was starting to improve (and before we had that weird, sporadic snowy time), our friend Laura came up to stay at ours for a few days. It's always fun when Laura comes to visit as Baker loves her but he also loves cars...!
We were super lucky and thankful that while she was here, she took us all out to one of our favorite play spots - Ford. We don't get to venture far anymore what with me not having a car these days and although all of the towns 3 beaches are well within walking distance for us, they aren't an option for us now with how nervous B-man is and how disrespectful some owners can be!

Long story short, here are a handful of photos I took of little man having a wail of a time swimming and running about in the ford at Ford!

Apologies for my no-make up, over exposed face and Baker's derp on the 3rd to last photo haha.
You can tell, I'm sure, that once he's in he's like a duck. He adores swimming and even after getting dried twice, he still wanted to go back in haha. His sad face in the photo of him wrapped in the towel isn't because he was told off or anything but because we were leaving. We had such a great time, without too much stress from other dogs/owners and B-man was so jiggered he fell asleep in the car home.
One downside did come to light the next again day though when Mr-Constantly-Wagging-Tail had a limp, hanging tail :( I was really concerned so like any responsible dog owner I Googled it. Apparently it's not very common but the most usual explanation is over exertion which of course made sense. After about 3-4 lazy days I was happy to be greeted one morning by a waggy tail!! You never know how much you miss something until it isn't there ;)
