Disney Q&A #2

Yay! A solely Disney Q&A! Last time I asked for questions for my Spring Q&A, I recieved a heck load of Disney questions which led me to split them into separate posts. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed answering the questions...there were some really fun and unique ones this time! Thanks to all who asked them :)

If you were a Disney character, which one would you be?
Asked by Beth
I often say I think I'm a mix between Snow White (my housewife, animal loving, caring side) and something else because I'm definitely not as nice/pretty/princess-y as her! Perhaps an animal like Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh, but a female version as I'm probably as ill-natured as him haha.

Least fave Disney character and why?
Asked by Michelle
I actually did a whole blog post on this - here. Charlotte is definitely top of the list though. I'm just not into people who are so obsessed with themselves and so entitled as she is!

If you could only watch one Disney film for the rest of your life, which one would it be? And why?
Asked by Jenny
Stoppppp. Haha. How can I choose? As usual, I'm choosing 3 options...Today, as it'll probably change next week, classic animation wise I'd pick Alice in Wonderland, Pixar would be Ratatouille and live action would be between So Dear to my Heart, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and maybe a Pirates of the Carribean movie. There are literally so many hundreds of Disney movies and only a small handful that I dislike so apologies for cheat of an answer!

If you could make an animated Disney movie based on a true story, what would it be?
Asked by Mark
Another super interesting question! I love this because I'm a big fan of 'based on a true story' movies and Disney does them SO well. It would be interesting to see something about whales in captivity, Seaworld for example, along the lines of Dumbo. You know, where they are stuck being exploited, used for human entertainment and (although Dumbo and the animals don't end up free from life in captivity) it could document the whales and other sea creatures and the people helping them to fight for freedom. I dunno. That was the first thing that came to mind haha.

If you could create a new Disney princess, what would she be called and what would her story be?
Asked by Dee
I dunno about names, but I would love to see an African Princess. I know Tiana is African-American, but I mean like a native of somewhere in Africa. Imagine a beautiful Tribal Princess? I think that would be a stunning animation...think of the possibilities?!
An Indian (as in from India...apologies if that is not politically correct, I don't mean any harm) Princess as well as one from the Caribbean would be awesome aswell of course. It'd be amazing to eventually have a Princess to represent most cultures.
The only other things I could think of have already been added to the Princess rosta in recent years, Merida and Moana!

If you could have one attraction in DLP from any other Disney Park, what would it be?
Asked by Ryan
I have to admit, I don't know much at all about other parks because I'm really just not that bothered about them. I'll never get to visit any others so haven't looked into stuff or done much research, but from what I've seen of other peoples videos and photos I'd say things like Ariel's Undersea Adventure, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Soarin' from DLR.

Which Disney characters would you invite to a dinner party?
Asked by Rachel
Jack Sparrow for sure - first guest right there! Uncle Albert from Mary Poppins because he'd make us all laugh and float up to the celing haha. Urmm, Brutus from The Ugly Dachshund because we need a dog in there and I love him as well as Elliot from Pete's Dragon (1977 version) as he's just as clumsy and cute. I guess I should have a couple more people...ladies are lacking on my invite list...Miss Price from Bedknobs and Broomsticks (witches are always welcome), Mia Princess of Genovia and Alice from the 2010 live action reimagining.
Sounds pretty great to me!!

If you could make one of your stuffed Disney characters come to life which would you pick?
Asked by Rachel
Oswald! He's a lucky rabbit and I miss Bunny and Nike (my old house rabbits), so it'd be nice to have another around :) I really treasure that soft toy too because I've been a fan of him for a long time and he's always been vastly underrepresented in merch. I wonder what Mr Disney would think that his original 'star' is getting his foot in the spotlight now.

Which Disney universe would you live in if you could?
Asked by Rachel
The highlands of Brave. It's the closest to where I do actually live, plus it's in a time period I'd really love to have lived in. It's beautiful, magical and has bears!! What's not to love? I'd fit in with my hair too ;)

If you could only watch one Disney movie a week what would you choose first?
Asked by Fiona
Like most things, this is certainly a choice that is dependant on when I was asked and will change from day to day as I said above. Right now, animation wise, it'd be Fun and Fancy Free and live action wise  maybe POTC what with getting pumped for the new realse this month. Either that or Pollyanna. I'm very much a live action lover so choosing out of all the hundreds in this catalouge is pretty difficult lol.

There's been an apocalypse and you're stuck at DLP. Which ride/area/building do you choose to make your new home?
Asked by Hayley
Firstly, I dunno how you came up with this question but 10 points to you as it's brilliant.
Secondly, I may have to choose two...as it'd depend on which park I was in ;)
For the Disneyland Park I would choose the Molly Brown river boat in Frontierland. It has both indoor and outdoor areas, plus is in water so would be (somewhat) safe from other people or any threats? I dunno. I think I'm thinking 'Zombie Apocalypse' haha. Oh and all the bird watching <3
And as for Walt Disney Studios Park, without a doubt it'd be the Art of Animation building! All of that art to look at, the screens to watch films and comfy seats? I think that'd be the best bet.

Oh, and because I don't like odd numbers and nobody asked this, I'm gonna ask myself...
When is your next Disneyland Paris trip?
Well, seeing as you asked....haha I'm actually on my way as you read this :) Can't wait for more moments like those in the image above!

Thanks for reading! I'll be offline for a little while, however all posts are scheduled as normal so please keep popping back on Wednesday and Friday for super awesome posts! I'll reply to comments and social media stuff at the weekend hopefully. Have a fab week.

  2. I get so anxious when I see posts about Disneyland. I've always wanted to go. If I was a Disney character, I'd be Belle from beauty and the Beast. She's smart, beautiful, graceful, courageous and kind.

    1. I was indeed. Just got home this afternoon :) haha I just didn't want to become one of those people who go on and on and brag etc so didn't say anything.
Thanks so much!!! I will have a couple, though it was only a short 2 day trip so not many. Goodness knows when they'll go up though as I still have loads from December to do haha.

  4. I absolutely loved your answer to the Disney princess you'd create - I completely agree, an African princess would be amazing to see and I would definitely love to see a story like that, and I think Disney would be amazing at bringing that to life. The question about which Disney film to watch forever is so hard to answer, as I love them all, but I love Ratatouille so that's a great choice and it's so heart-warming too! - Tasha

    1. Thanks so much Tasha! Really enjoyed answering all these. I hate trying to choose fave films, I love like 90% of them equally and it's just impossible to choose. It really does change each day depending on my mood.
