Weekly Wondering // Week 18

Hello people of Earth. How is your weekend going?
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.

What can money not buy?
Happiness is the obvious answer here right? Other than that theres:
Being a good person
Meaningful experiences
And way more.

If you left this life tomorrow, how would you be remembered?
In all honestly, I probably wouldn't be remembered at all. Of course my parents would remember me, but after the initial 'Oh did you hear so-and-so passed away', I'm pretty positive no one would give a second thought. I've unfortuantly not done anything in particular that would make me memorable in a good way and thankfully I don't feel I've done anything to have me remembered in a bad way haha.

Beyond the titles that others have given you, who are you?/
I am me. Danielle. Mother to Baker. Daughter of Sheila and Gary. Lover of our natural world and Warden of the North. Hold on, that last one is not me...

If you could live the next 24 hours and then erase it and start over just once, what would you do?
Write numerous blog posts with all of my opinions on controversial subjects. It would mean I was able to get the thoughts out of my head but then not have to deal with the crazy backlash I have to every time I say the slightest opinion ;)

Is it possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
My head hurts too much to think about stuff like this haha. I gather you don't challenge the truth if you believe and respect the person who you are recieving the 'truth' or whatever from, in the first place..?

What word best describes the way you've spent the last month of your life?
Preparing! Getting everything prepared for our little Disney trip at the start of this week.

What makes everyone smile?
Dogs!!! Or, they should.
Urm...when someone smiles at you? Beautiful days. Jokes. I don't think any one thing makes absolutely 'everyone' smile. Different things make different people happy after all.

Make sure to look back on this same post from 2013 here, and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.

  1. So true, dogs do make everyone smile! I don't think I've ever found one person who doesn't smile at a cute doggo! Love your answer to the what money can't buy question too, so true. I know we all need money to live, but I wish people wouldn't place so much importance on it and forget to be kind people at the same time. Always enjoy reading these Danielle! - Tasha

    1. I've known a couple people who are scared of dogs but I never fully understand that...I know they must have had a bad experience with one in the past but not all dogs are the same. That's like being beaten up by a man and then being scared of all people. Though to be fair there are probably people like that too! That's sad to think about.
      Thank you!! :)

  2. Some questions are quite bizarre. I'm answering them too, as seeing them on your blog. I love your answers though. x

    1. Aren't they?! Yes! I need to catch up with those. April was a busy month and I'm still not back into the swing of things haha. Thank you!

  3. I think you should write all your controversial blog posts anyway - I'd love to read them!
And there's something vey wrong with a person who doesn't smile at a nice dog (and I say this as a definite cat person)

    1. Oh!! Ahahaha, I don't know about that :P I think I'd be the most hated person ever. Even more than usual lol.

Right?! I smile at all animals though. Unless they are fighting...then I shout at them to stop. ha
