Things I HATE About People pt.2!

In May 2016 I posted my first 'Things I HATE' post. It was never meant to turn into a series and despite it being somewhat pessimistic (though definitely in a funny way...or I guess I try to make it so), people seem to have enjoyed them. Now, nine months after I posted Things I HATE About People I've decided it's time to share more things I hate about people...because you know, I'm an antisocial beggar haha. Here it goes.

Space Invaders
Have you ever seen the photo/meme thing of the guy online who has a hula hoop around his middle held up with straps to save his personal space - that's what I need. There is nothing worse than people, anyone, strangers or not, standing so close that you can feel their presence either physically through their body touching or breath on your, or non-physically just sensing them being super close.
I rarely hug my closest friends let alone strange people in the supermarket or bus...take a step back!

Queue Cutters
Whether it's at Disneyland or Morrisons, the rudeness of people being so bold as to just walk right in front of you, or in many cases a lot of people, is unbelievable. When it comes to rides, surely waiting 2 more minutes isn't going to make much of a difference to your day? As for those in the shops, usually I let people with less stuff go in front anyway if it's super busy...but if you have the nerve to just slip in front without asking I hope your card gets declined. (Not really but urgh, rude!)

Busybodies
The people who just have to know everything about everyone. They are blind/curtain twitchers, unofficial neighbourhood watch. They gossip with everyone about everyone, talking behind each others back about each other. Nosey, nosey, busybodies!

Non-Closers/Pusher in-ers
This may be the cleaner side of me talking and is probably classed as more of a pet peeve than something I hate about people, but those who leave gates, doors, cupboards and more open and those who do not push their chair in when they leave a desk, table or whatever bug me to no end. I'm not even too sure why for the chair thing but when it comes to doors and gates...what are they made for?! What is their purpose? To close a gap in a wall or fence which can be opened to go through - not to be left open all the time. If you want to leave it open 24/7 just take it off it's hinges!

Staring Problem?
I hate being looked at let alone stared at. I don't care whether it's a toddler or a full grown adult, they should not be staring at me haha. I know it's just what kids do, but my goodness it makes me so uncomfortable! Like what? Do I have something written on my forehead or bird poo in my hair? Stop!

Know-it-alls
Now I know some people are experts in particular fields, or even a few but some people take it above and beyond and just have to prove (or attempt to) that they know absolutly everything all of the time. There's nothing wrong with being intelligent but it gets tiresome in coversation when it's always the same person who has to make others feel inadiqute, uneducated or just downright wrong. Hold ya tounge every now and again eh? Let your pals have a go at an answer in the pub quiz or give out the directions.

Copy Cats
In opposition to the above point, you have those people who just can't get their own ideas. From the world of blogging, in work places, even school or home life hobbies, those who can't help but not have a mind of their own don't realize how annoying it can be to copy something others work hard on. We've probably all heard that ''Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'' or so said Charles Caleb Colton...but he was obviously never copied!

I can't guarantee there won't be a part 3 of this. Whenever I'm out and about and someone pees me off I note it down in my phone. I don't go out often but I am easily annoyed, ask anyone who has ever gone anywhere with me ever haha! Hope you could related to a couple of these, tell me the top 3 things you HATE about people in the comments below and make sure to give part 1 a read too!

  1. Haha - love this list. As an antisocial person too, I can relate! Three things I hate about people - people who stop in the middle of the shop doorway as you're trying to exit/street as you walk behind them, people who chew with their mouths open, and people who talk on their phone really loudly! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x

    1. Ahh how did I even forget that! It happens every time I go anywhere. People seem to think standing the shop door way is the best place to have a catch up with Bessie who they haven't seen since 1962. hahaha

  2. I love these posts! You should definitely make it a full on series. I hate when people stare but then I stare at other women admiring their outfit haha

  3. Omg Danielle I love this! I relate to this so much! haha. Space invaders especially in a queue and they have to stand so close to me, just like calm the f down, you'll get your turn so get out of my space please. The amount of times I have to step forward to dodge them is nuts haha. I get so annoyed when people cut in front too, I either just step in front of them again to prove a point or just comment like 'is this actually a joke?' and they'll turn round and be like 'eee sorry I didn't realise this was the queue' like yeah sure you didn't... haha. I hate being bitchy like that but some times people really do try to take the piss don't they! Actually laughed out loud at the staring thing, so pleased you hate this too, stresses me out so much! :'D Love that this is a series, I'm going to read your other posts on this now :D

    1. It's such a relief to get comments like this that get what I mean! ha. Oh I could write a post of it's own about people standing right up my back passage in queues etc. Do they realize that the closer they stand doesn't actually make the link go any quicker?! Grr.
Thanks so much for the awesome comment <3 <3

  4. Danielle, thank you for doing these posts because they always give me a good giggle each time you put a new one out. I especially agree with the busy bodies one - I wish more people would just let others live their lives without intervening. I see it everywhere now. People automatically think they have a right to get all and any bit of information off of you, and then like you say, they then share that with everyone else - hate it. Not into gossiping at all, it makes me so uncomfortable. The space invaders one really made me laugh too, it always happens to me in the supermarket but I never say anything, so it's half my problem! Thanks for the laughs today, was needed - Tasha

    1. It's just nice that people can 'get' my humor through text! I'm glad it could make you laugh :)
Not half your problem at all! You shouldn't have to say anything! I never say anything. People should just be brought up with better manners ha!

  5. Oh gosh, yes! You couldn't be more right - I think the one that winds me up most is the queue cutters! It can't be that hard to not be a terrible person?!
