A Day in My Life // June

Thursday, 29th June.
A Day in My Life.

For the second month in a row, I very almost missed this project. I sound like  broken record, I am aware, but life has just been non-stop since the end of April and the weeks roll into months before my brain even has the chance to catch up! Thankfully, this month (as in July) I've already done my day in photos on the 9th so no repeats of boring days stuck in the house again. I'm sure photos of my laptop screen and toothpaste are becoming a little redundant haha. Anyway, here's a very rainy day in my life from June!

1 // Starting the day with a lot of rain, wearing Jake's waterproof trousers rolled up and unable to take the camera out. However the sight of this little guy upon opening the door put a smile on my face :)
2 // Quick shot on my phone to prove I was at work haha.
3 // Then after getting home I did a bit of housework and organizing!
4 // I even had time for a teeny spot of blogging before I had 40winks with Baker.
5 // At 10am it was time to get make-up on, ready for job #2.

6 // Being greeted at work by Molly...though I'm pretty much the only person she won't speak to haha.
7 // On the way home for the second time today and it's still raining.
8 // Phew! Relax with a movie time!
9 // We had a bit of playtime which seems to have worn the boyo out again already.
10 // My skin has been extra awful lately so I did a much needed face mask.

11 // ..then to shower it off.
12 // No time to sit down, I have to cool two separate meals for Jake and I. May as well multitask with some blogging too!
13 // Getting the food in my belly accompanied by a few YouTube videos.
14 // My bedtime routine takes far too long, even without make-up removal, especially now that I have fresh ear piercings again hahaha (Literally feel about 7).
15 // There is nothing like ending the day with a good book. <3

I managed to fit quite a lot in between the hours of 6am and 9pm, don't you think?! Again it's a pretty average day for me now and then twice a week add in my 3rd job for 2 hours right after my 2nd job, that's what I do on repeat haha. Still, a day that I'm able to fit in a movie or a bit of blogging is a successful day indeed.
What did you get up to in June?! Share your similar posts in the comments below ;)
Have a great July!

  1. I think it's great you fit so much into your day, it puts me to shame! I definitely need to get into a proper routine again as I feel I've really fallen out of that since leaving university - I used to be so productive but I think stress and general life lately has meant I'm not pushing myself as much, so these are good posts for me to read to get myself going again! Love the shot of the snail as you opened your door and sleepy Baker is too cute, as is Molly too! - Tasha

    1. Ah it's not that much! I bet if you took a photo of each different thing you did throughout the day, you'd be surprised!

  2. You always seem to get so much done during the day! I feel like the only thing I accomplish is chasing Lux around and once she naps all I want to do is laze around and not do anything haha
What book did you end your day with?

    1. Oh believe me, it looks more than it is haha! I bet your day is much fuller than mine with Lux. Having a little one to run around after is a full time job in itself!
It was The Invention of Hugo Cabret <3 Love that book and movie!

  5. I love the weekly planner and how you keep check of everything at a glance in that way... I currently use a bullet journal but think something like that would be a lot easier. Also, love the last photo of the book. I hope you're week is going well.

  6. Awn I really loved reading this. It's so cool to see what other people get up to :) I get up around 6:15am to leave for work just before 8am and then I am home at 6pm. Driving everyday can get so tiring :( Love seeing how you see the positives in your journey to work :) Love piercings :) I never cleaned mine properly - so bad but sure :) xoxo

    1. Thank you! I love reading these types of posts too. Yay for early rising :) Best time of the day. Oh I bet the driving is tiring. I'm lucky to have less than a 15min walk across the river and a beautiful walk at that.
I recently got my 2nd in one lobe and 3rd in the other lobe but definitely haven't been washing them 3 times a day for 3 weeks lol!
