Well, I guess what with being over half way into 2017, that it being time for my second quarterly haul of the year shouldn't be so shocking. But it is. I have come to the conclusion I'm obviously 76 trapped in a 26 year old's body, because all I do these days is talk about weather or how fast time is moving past me. But surely someone else must be wondering why 2017 seems to be playing in double speed?! Take your finger off the fast forward button who ever is in control, please.
Tangent unsuccessfully diverted, this is my quarterly haul featuring everything I have bought over the past 3 months - April, May and June!
Books! Not too many this time, but still a good handful. The beautiful, special Hufflepuff edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone I actually won from the ever so generous Sarah on Twitter, which I couldn't believe and was so thankful for.
The Invention of Hugo Cabret and Tales of the Peculiar were treats after I got my second job and the two Pirates books were 'just because'. FYI, the Brightest Star of the North was fantastic and I highly recommend.
Next was something that actually ended up being my biggest spends of the months, mainly due to going on a little holiday at the start of May. I got 2 new pairs of jeans and a peach cardi (which you can see in this post) especially for that trip, as well as 2 pairs if sunglasses and my 25th anniversary bow. Other than that I also picked up 4 tops from Primark, a POTC top from some random store online to wear when we went to see the new movie opening weekend and a Disneyland Paris 20th anniversary tee on eBay.
The biggest shock of the haul has to be the DVD pile. Practically non-existent! Moana was the only new release, the bottom three on the photo were random Amazon picks and Into the Woods (least fave Disney movie ever) and Tron I picked up at CeX just because there was nothing else and I needed them for my collection eventually anyway.
Lastly are the homeware and randomy bits! I'm not huge on a lot of Harry Potter merch, it seems to be commonly pretty tacky but I thought this cushion from Primark was quite nice. It's also pretty good quality, well stuffed and has a zip so you can take the cover off to wash. Pretty good for £6.
The bags were all Primark too obviously and we'll skip over the fact I have a real problem relating to reusable shoppers...
My beautiful vase was another great score, marked down due to it's 'fine'. I also actually have a problem with broken things. I've addressed it s little before but may do a whole post at some point to explain it s bit more.
Bringing this to a close, there are my Disney stationary bits from John Lewis!
Of course, my DLP trip being within this 3 month time period also, my buys from there are missing here and will feature in their own haul in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for that. I was so lucky and am so chuffed with everything I was able to bring home <3 Same goes for everything in this post too. Forever thankful for every single item I have.
