A Day in My Life // August...But Not Really

It's already the 17th of September and I'm desperately trying to grab a hold of things to keep them together so I don't slip too far behind.

On the 25th of August 2017 I took a big step for me and decided to stop blogging for a while. It was a big step because since November 2011 this blog has been my main source of stability, my main outlet and my main hobby. I keep to a set schedule not for anyone else but for me and although I heard plenty of times from Jake 'it doesn't have to go up by then', for me it did. My obsessiveness took over and I was set in my ways. Originally, I would pre-write posts and have at the very least the next two weeks (8 posts) fully complete - though often up to a month+ - however, upon starting 2 new jobs in May things were getting on top of me.

It got to the point where most posts in August were written the night before. Staying up later than I would have liked to meaning I was extra tired (on top of my normal fatigue due to blood issues) getting up at 5.30 for my first job. I'd get home at 7.30 and have a nap before my 2nd job at 11.30 and once I got home at 2.30 (or 3rd job at 16.30 on certain days) it was time to take care of my own house work, the dog, Jake...etc..etc. The blog was sadly taking a backseat through no choice of my own and I was feeling rubbish, not only struggling with all that but other demons too.

Anyway, the whole point of this post was that I worked through my main posts that go up each month like What I Watched in August and Project 365 // August Summary , then got to the 'A Day in My Life' post and realized I hadn't actually taken photos for one :( So this is it.

A day in my life in August was busy.
I got up early, walked to work, worked, walked home.
I got Baker up, out for the toilet, fed and played with. Then we had a nap together.
I woke up, had a bite to eat, put make up on and put Baker in his bed with Netflix on.
I walked to work, worked, walked home.
I got home, took Baker for the toilet, fed and played with him and had a seat.
I did some housework, fed myself and Jake, tidied a little more, then could sit down again.
I got a little work done on the laptop and by that time it was bedtime.

x that by 31 days.

I'm a bit gutted that it's the 2nd of these posts I've missed this year as I love to look back on them but I guess I just had no time and my head wasn't in the right place. Good news is I'm feeling a bit better and I'm really working on managing time so I can get back into posting. The plan is to use the next couple of weeks wisely and start back with my regular schedule in October. I may even drop a day...ya never know!

Hope everyone is well :)
