Weekly Wondering // Week 38

Good day all. Hope your Sunday is a good one.
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Don't spend what you don't have! In other words don't take on any debt - credit cards, store cards, getting things on finance etc. If you can't save up money and buy whatever it is outright, then think hard why. Nothing is worth getting into debt over!! (Minus the obvious like a mortgage...)

If you could live forever, would you want to? Why?
Yes. Because I am petrified of death. Not exactly the whole being dead part of it, but the actual passing away.

If you had to be someone else for one day, who would you be and why?
Someone who has a life completely different to mine. Someone outgoing and confident, popular and fun. A talented person, probably an entertainer of some sort, who doesn't spend their whole life cleaning and sitting at home alone with their dog watching movies haha.

What positive changes have you made in your life recently? question.

Who makes you feel good about yourself?
I don't know :/

What is your biggest regret?
I don't do regrets because anything that should be regarded as one has taught me a lesson, and I assume they do for most people. Learn from your mistakes and put that into practise in the future instead of just dwelling on the past, wishing it didn't happen.

Which one of your responsibilities do you wish you could get rid of?
Feeding Jake and cleaning my own house, purely because I work 3 cleaning jobs as it is. ha

Make sure to look back on this same post from 2013/14 here, and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.

  1. Why don't you try to do the things you wish you can do? Small steps that can mean make a big difference if you are ready to get out your comfort zone. Hugs xx

  2. I really liked your answer to the one about being someone else for a day, I think I'd have said the same thing. I'm not the kind of person who is cut out for fame or anything like that, but being able to experience a day in that world would be fun I think. Love your response about regrets too, completely agree. Even though bad things happens, I like to think they've molded me to help me get stronger and hopefully more empathetic and kinder, so I try to take everything as a learning curve, and not worry about the past as much anymore, though it can be hard. - Tasha

    1. It's be cool for one day but I definitely wouldn't want to live that life forever. I'm happy how I am :)
Definitely. Everything I've been through has made me who I am.

  3. I was always given the same advice about spending and I've never regretting sticking to it!
I'd love to be someone like that for just a day too! x

    1. Everyone should love by that advice. It makes me feel sick just to even imagine being in that kind of debt, dunno how people do it.
