Weekly Wondering // Week 41

Hello!
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?
My parents, obviously. Do I really need to explain that?

Are you happy with where you are in your life? Why?
Yes and no. I'd much prefer owning my own house and having not wasted £37,000+ on rent over the past 6 years but what can you do? Overall, I have a roof over my head, 3 jobs, food in my belly, the best dog ever and I am very thankful for that.

In one year from today, how do you think your life will be different?
To be realistic, not very. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though.

How have you sabotaged yourself in the past five years?
Nothing I don't think, I have enough bad luck as it is without sabotaging myself too haha.

Other than money, what else have you gained from your current job?
A little bit of confidence regarding my social anxiety and I suppose you could say friends. Obviously I don't hang out with them outside of work or anything but I enjoy talking to everyone while I'm there.

Whom do you secretly envy? Why?
Oh wow, now we're getting deep. Many, many people.  People who have good skin, people who have a full head of hair, people who own their own homes, people who can take their dog out for a walk. I'm not jealous in a bad way and always appreciate every single thing I do have but I would be lying to say I don't envy (in the best way possible) many people.

In twenty years, what do you want to remember?
As much as possible. Everything about my parents and grand parents. I'll be 47 then and that's scary, especially with so many horrible diseases in my family, out of them all I am scared of loosing my memory the most.

Make sure to look back on this same post from 2013/14 here, and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.
