Weekly Wondering // Week 42

Sup yo, hows it going?
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.

What are you most excited about in your life right now – today?
Well now that October is over, I have to say our next Disneyland trip in 204 days... :)  I am extra excited for this trip because my Dad is coming!! The last (and only) time Dad was in DLP was for my 6th birthday in October of '96, over 21 years ago.

What experience from this past year do you appreciate the most?
I have to say probably the Halloween night at Beamish. It meant a lot to do something for my favorite time of year for a change, especially as a birthday treat from my oldest friend Claire. Maybe it was because I was dressed up and not out as 'myself' but overall my anxitey had a bit of a break despite being around the public.

What is the most enjoyable thing your family has done together in the last three years?
Family as in Mam, Dad and I haven't done too many things together, though separately Mam and I have done loads - DLP in Oct '14, Dec '16 and the WB Studio Tour in Dec '15, Oct '17 - and Dad and I have done our 32 mile charity walk around Keilder, which wasn't just a good experience in general, but a fantastic opportunity to spend a good chunk of time together.

How many hours of television do you watch in a week? A month? A year?
I don't really watch TV per say. I have a TV licence and a TV screen but nothing like Sky or freeview or anything. The shows I watch are predominantly on Netflix, though still I rarely watch shows and if you are familar with this blog you'll know I'm a DVD/movie person. As I write this I've watched almost 450 movies this year which I guess on average may equate to around 750 hours-ish? Probably way more.

What is the biggest obstacle that stands in your way right now?
Money. Isn't it for the majority of people?

What do you sometimes pretend you understand that you really don’t?
What people have said? No, that's Mam! If she hasn't heard or understood you she'll just agree and then you're like, 'you don't even know what I said do you?!' haha. Hmm, I don't think I pretend I understand anything. If I don't understand I just say I don't.

What do you like most about your job? What do you dislike most about your job?
I have the jobs I have so I can work around Baker and so that he is home by himself the least amount of time possible. Not only that but after the jobs I've done in the past and considering my anxity and stuff, I love these jobs because I see no members of the public at all and work with no one at all in two of them.
What I dislike is that I have repetitive strain and a ganglion cyst.

Make sure to look back on this same post from 2013/14 here, and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.

  1. I like reading your answer so much after answering to them myself. It's interesting how the same question can get answers that are so different. :)

  2. I loved your outfit for your Halloween night at Beamish so I'm glad you mentioned it here, because you're right. Sometimes it's good to do something fun and different for a change. Always enjoy reading your answers to these questions too. The yellow leaves in the photo for this post is stunning too! - Tasha

    1. Thank you!! I loved it so much, didn't want to take it off haha.
      Thanks Tasha <3
