Merry Sunday all!
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.
What's something new you recently learned about yourself?
That I am still stuggling with liking myself. Not to start this off on a downer but eff it, this is my blog and who the heck reads it minus myself anyway. It's been an up and down journey for the past almost 15 years and I realized that that is going to be a part of me for longer than I hoped. The things I've gone through have effected me mentally, they can't be forgotten or gotten over that easy and I need to keep working on myself. I'd like to like myself one day.
In one sentence, how would you describe your relationship with your mother?
My relationship with my mother is amazing; I'm so lucky to have such a strong, supportive, inspirational parental unit who just so happen to be my best friends too.
What was the most defining moment in your life during this past year?
Uh, I dunno. My life isn't a movie haha.
What's the number one change you need to make in your life in the next twelve months?
See the first answer in this post and use your imagination.
What makes you feel secure?
A locked door. That I have checked about 5 times. lol
What is your favorite sound?
Oooh, well silence is a good one! I adore listening to the sea, every single bird call, most nature sounds I guess.
What are the top three qualities you look for in a friend?
Above all, honesty. It's one of the very main attributes a person should have. As well as compassion for others (especially animals) and I think something that is different to me...for example like confidence in public/speaking to people and stuff if that makes sense. It makes trips out a lot less stressful when I'm with a self confident friend who doesn't take crap from people haha!
Make sure to look back on this same post from 2013/14 here, and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.
