Ah. So, I guess this is the last of my DLP17 photos and therefore the last Disneyland Paris posts of the year. My next trip is now 180 days away so until then I have a few ideas for other DLP related content every other Wednesday - always open to ideas though if there are specific things you like to see or hear about.
Here is the end of my Disney Illuminations photography, anyway!

The Beautiful Bridges of Berwick

Our little border town is famous for a couple things, but the stunning three bridges that span the mouth of the river tweed are probably one of the most well known.
The oldest and smallest, nearest to the mouth is dubbed the Old Bridge funnily enough but it's real name is merely Berwick Bridge and it opened in 1624 :O Recently I posted this blog post > The Outlaw King Came to Town about when Netflix came to film a movie using said bridge as it is apparently the most reminiscent of London Bridge back in ye olde days...apparently.
Next is the bridge I walk over a minimum of 4 times a day haha, the so-called New Bridge (original eh?) which is technically the Royal Tweed Bridge. It ended construction in 1928 which means it isn't really that new...but I guess in comparison to the old bridge it is.
Lastly, is the bridge which all of the trains pass over and if you are traveling from England up to anywhere like Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond you will travel over the tweed via this bridge - The Royal Border Bridge! It's probably the most famous, with 28 arches, completed in 1850 and designed by the great Robert Stephenson!

Anyways, I didn't mean to make this into a history lesson, it was gonna be a photo only post...HA! I just wanted to share some photos I've taken over the past year or so of The Beautiful Bridges of Berwick.

If you enjoyed this feel free to check out The Beautiful Birds of Berwick post I put together a while back. I need to do an updated one of that to be fair.

Thanks for looking!
