Weekly Wondering // Week 45 & 46

Good day, good sir/madam.
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought-provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.

If I gave you $1000 and told you that you had to spend it today, what would you buy?
I'd give £500 to a couple of my fave chaities (local wildlife sanctuary, greyhound rescue etc), put £200 into my gas and electric account, pay off the rest of my Dis-holiday and maybe get a food shop.

What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?
A video online of an interview of Pink, actually.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
So many things.Without getting into the serious stuff regarding animals or our planet, I have to say people who don't push chairs in (I don't care if it's at a fast food resturant, at home, at your desk at work - push your freakin' chair in!) and people who ignore the 'keep to the left' / 'walk on the right' etc  instructions in places - they are there for a reason!

Who was the last person you said “I love you” to?
The dog lol. Usually is.

What is your biggest phobia?
I'm not keen on dying/getting badly ill and needing to go into hospital. It makes me ill to think about it, which I guess a lot of people do too? I suppose you could say I have a 'phobia' of flying and of course I hate moths and butterflies!

What are some recent compliments you’ve received?
A lady at work with dementia held my hand and told me I was 'too good' and made my month.

How many friends do you have in real life that you talk to regularly?
What do you class as regularly? More than once a month? I have like 3 'real life' friends that I see semi-annually lol.

Sooo where this post would usually end, this time it is not. You may or may not know I had a break during September on this here blog and am therefore a few posts short of completion by the end of the year. That means I'll be doubling up the rest of weekly wondering so that I can start another new Sunday series fresh in January! (Suggestions welcome! Do I bring back Weekly Reflections? Start something else? Let me know). Anyway, here's week 46 >

How much money per month is enough for you to live comfortably?
Again, it depends on what you class as comfortably... But how we are now with Jake working full time and me working the 3 part time jobs is the best off I've been since I was about 17. We are able to pay bills and have a tiny bit left over to pay for Disney or the odd treat like a trip to the cinema etc.

When was your first impression of someone totally wrong?
I don't know.

How many hours a week do you spend online?
It varies as I don't work online, I guess it's between 10 and 35.

What do you love to do?
I love to bird/nature watch and take photos, spend time with my dog, watch movies, go to Disneyland, read books, sleep, walk places where there are no people, help people/animals.

What specific character trait do you want to be known for?
My willingness and need to do what I can, where I can, for who I can.

Are you more like your mom or your dad?  In what way?
Oh gosh, I dunno. I think I'm equally like both, with looks and traits from both. I blame Dad for my baldness though...

What is the number one quality that makes someone a good leader?
It's a two way tie between compassion and honesty I reckon!

Make sure to look back on this same posts from 2013/14 here and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.
