Weekly Wondering // Week 47 & 48

Happy Sunday!
For the explanation of what is going on here, please do click here and have a quick read.
Other than that, in short, I am answering 7 of these 365 thought-provoking questions each week until I complete the year. I already did this in 2013 and am revisiting them to compare my answers.

What bad habits do you want to break?
My eating habits (but they are a long story), my anger (which ties in with my anxiety etc so isn't fully my fault) and more trivial, leaving all the clean laundry in the spare room until I have a mountain to put away haha!

What is your favorite place on Earth?
I have two. Kielder and Disneyland Paris. I'd live in Kielder if I could, it's hard to ever be sad when I'm there...the atmospher is just perfect. And DLP is my happy place for occasional breaks from reality.

What do you love to practice?
Kindness and compasion.

What questions do you often ask yourself?
'Why me?' hahaha

What are you an expert at?
Nothing at all unfortunaly! I'm a jack of some trades, master of none.

How would an extra $1000 a month change your life?
I'd have more money to do the charity things I'd like to, plus have some savings for when I eventually - in 40 years - manage to buy a house.

What things in life should always be free?
Fresh clean air to breath, fresh clean water to drink and some sort of shelter for those who need it. There are many other things and I know that those 3 things above are also not currently availiblefor everyone all over the world, but they are the most basic needs that should be met for every living creature on Earth.

Sooo where this post would usually end, this time it is not. You may or may not know I had a break during September on this here blog and am therefore a few posts short of completion by the end of the year. That means I'll be doubling up the rest of weekly wondering so that I can start another new Sunday series fresh in January! Here is week 48 >>

What is your favorite time of the year?
Halloween month! October is my birthday month too and although I'm not too fussed with birthdays, it's usually a fun filled month. Plus I adore decorating for All Hallows Eve <3

What is something you have always wanted since you were a kid?
Animals / to help animals.. It's changed over the years but I've wanted everything from being a vet or marine biologist to owning my own sheep, dogs, horses, chickens and goodness knows what else.

What is the most recent dream you remember having while sleeping?
I often remember my dreams but they are too weird, long and/or boring to write about here.

What confuses you?
Why people don't care about our planet's health and how people can try to justify any type of animal cruelty, exploitation, abuse, tourisim, hunting and so on.

In what way are you your own worst enemy?
We don't need to get into that.

When did you not speak up when you should have?
All the time because I'm a Libra and can't bare any sort of confrontation. Blurgh!

What is your favorite quote?
"We're all born naked and the rest is drag."
“That’s the real trouble with the world. Too many people grow up.”
"It's not until you lose everything that you can truly appreciate everything. "
“The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of them all.”
“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothin’ at all.”
“The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.”
“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and—snap!—the job’s a game!”
''You're perfect, you're beautiful, you look like Linda Evangelista. You're a model. Everything about you is perfect. Did you stone those tights? Oh, you're smiling! *Insert Name Here - I usually say it to Baker*! Your smile is beautiful!
There are probably more but that's all I can think of right now...and I'm well aware it asked for 'your favorite quote', I'm indecisive.

Make sure to look back on this same posts from 2013/14 here and see the differences in my answers! (I completed writing this before checking back to my old answers by the way). You can also see the series in whole from last time here and of course last week's Weekly Wondering here.
